Gentle Giant Mini-Busts

I got my Princess Leia bust today from Tales of Wonder (thanks to Brent - they now have a new customer) and I have to admit, I am a little disappointed.  I liked the picture of her on the box-with the "chubby' cheeks.  The Leia I have has a a thin face with cheek bones.  She really doesn't look like the one I saw at C4.  She also has a lot of dark around her eyes-it's almost too much.  I am going to have to scrounge the net to see other people's pictures because this might be the "normal" way she looks but it's certainly not the way I remember her.....to me, she was spot on in the box photos.

Well, here is a link to pictures of what mine looks like (these are not my pictures but she looks just like these).  What you don't see is a picture of the box.  I'll try to find one that shows her on the box.  She's not a bad figure, by no means, but the box looked so much more like Carrie Fisher than the one I own.

Previews Exclusive "Mynock Hunt" Chewbacca Mini-Bust



Sounds like this one will be tricky to get on-line.  I've heard/read rumors from a number of sources that actual brick-and-mortar comic shops will get priority over on-line Previews shops...

FINALLY!!! 

Well, it's about damn time they announced what they're doing with this thing. While I am ticked that it's not the GG gift, I am happy it's through a decent source and shouldn't be too hard to obtain. To quote Wayne's World, "it will be mine, oh yes it will be mine."

I wish they had just sold the Mynock mask as an accessory. 

I thought that too but this is a different sculpt so that's even better IMO...

I received my Jumbo Darth Vader Chubby from the GG raffle today, pretty neat this guy is. 

I also received 2 e-mails that my Glorfindel & Commander Cody have shipped today. They could have put both the busts in the same parcel but noooooooooooooooo, lets ship them in 2 parcels. Idiots!

I didn't realize how big the Glorfindel bust was.

Just the pre-order for attendees though, yes?  I'm not doing great on these so far.  Only Gree/Cody so far and no hookups for Bacarra after getting let down on Neyo.  Sigh.
