Guess I got real lucky then. I ordered mine about 20-25 minutes ago and it went as smooth as could be. Sucks to hear about the problems they are having now.  :-\  They just better keep those orders that have already been placed while they fix things, again.  ::)

I'm now to connection outright refused ::)  I knew I should have tried a little earlier.  I got on at about 9:24 PST and it just stuffed itself at 9:30.  So close, but so far away.  

Glad you got one Jim, hadn't seen you around here for a couple of days.

Well, they came through with the Luke bust for those of us who had problems.  So I'm hoping they handle this as well as they did last time.  It's pretty sad that they are having problems like this again, but as long as I get a bust I really don't care.

Yup, my email was sent about the same time as yours :D  I actually feel bad for the customer service staff.  They're probably all beating their heads against a very hard wall right now.  I kept the tone of the message pretty light and non-accusatory, they need no extra grief.

Well, from past experience, I'd say the customer service people are.  I'm currently enjoying some fine SWS.com customer service right now ::)  I love generic form responses. 

As it stands right now, here's how I rank the customer service departments:

1. Entertainment Earth (btw, they phoned me to make sure I got the last email message they sent to confirm my order has shipped)

2. Gentle Giant - personal responses and handled the Luke Stormtrooper issue pretty well.  Not so thrilled with their cavalier attitude about shipping into Canada, but oh well, that's what I get for living in a third world country.

3.  SWS.com (or is it SSW.com?) - I have had personalized responses from them, but there is precisely zero consistency.  Now I have a real issue that should be resolved (same issue I had with EE) and I can't get any sort of response out of them, other than a computer generated one.  My order was ready to ship over a week ago, I resolved my responsibilities, but apparently they've moved on.  The items still exist in my order history, but they ain't moving >:(

I was able to order two Luke Stormtrooper busts without a problem (one for me and one for a friend, the next day) - I guess I was expecting the same here with this one. Boy, was I wrong.

Never got the email to the link, even though I have been registered at their site for a year, and have received every one of their "updates" thus far, figures. ::)

Thank goodness for the JD front page, but then only got as far to the checkout cart before the site took a ****.

I'm really starting to hate these "internet exclusive" cluster f**ks. ::)

Yup, I'm still plugging away here too.  You should get your greedy ass off there and quit clogging the server. 

BTW, I just got the update from GG about the sale.  Apparently it started about an hour and a half ago ::)

Got back in, got to the billing info and guess what?  Yup, Lasso Error.  Again :'(

The page went up a little early, I was able to get an order in before it crashed. My CC was charged right away. (Not gloating, please do not throw anything. :P)

I think it only lasted 10 minutes.
