Wow, just gonna let that one sit as the last post on that page, Matt?  You must be taking your OCD medication, or sumthin'...   :P

You know what's funny, as soon as Brent put his post in, just minutes after mine (effectively rendering my post useless), I almost deleted my reply, which of course would have made his reply the last reply of the first page, and then I would have re-posted my original comment on the top of the next page.

But then, I thought to myself that Brent is too old cool of a guy to do that to, so I didn't.

Besides, you read it anyway.

You had that right the first time there, V.

No, I think "youse guys" lends itself more toward like a Brooklyn/Joisey gangster accent, whereas "yousa" is more of the gaywad Jar Jar-speak.

:-[   :'(

My bad Dave!  Do accept my most humble apology, good sir!   :-*

Any leads on a decent Boba and/or Vader prices anyone?  I keep staring at these, and wanting them more and more.  I need to expand into the more "mature" Star Wars collectibles market anyway, so this is definitely a good line to start with...

ARGH!  My wife's gonna kill me!!!   :-\

The OT busts are all there at AFX, except one:

I don't see the Vader or the Fett there Adam.  Am I just missing it/them?

Ah, oops! Nope they're not there. Just in my head.

Dont forget, GG is also coming out with two statue lines, a line of CW Animation style Maquettes, and mini collector helmets :)

This is a thread I'm going to have to steer clear of if I can.  I've always thought these busts were cool, but were a little too pricey for me, but the OT ones are especially tempting.  I could probably limit myself to just the OT ones, but that would be plenty as it is.  Why do they have to make so many cool Star Wars collectibles?  :P

At the risk of sounding like Patty, these things are smaller than I thought they would be.

I received my clone trooper pilot bust in the mail today and they are a fair bit smaller than I had originally thought.  I'm not sure what I was expecting but I thought they'd be around 8" tall or so (again, sounding like Patty).  Not true.

I fear this makes them even more dangerous as they wouldn't take up nearly as much display space as I'd originally thought.

Oh-oh :-X

You better watch it old man.  Unless you're referring to a different Patty, which must be the case considering the ridiculously asinine insinuation you're making there.  If anyone's experiencing this particular problem, I'd imagine it'd be the Canadians here, since they're of a relatively advanced age compared to the rest of us - and this does become a greater problem with age, does it not?

As for the busts, still mulling 'em over, but hoping Adam decides to part with even more of his illustrious collection, in which case I'd be waiting with open arms!   :-*

Another one bites the dust....

I have zero self control (have fun with that one).

Picked up a scout trooper off ebay for $34.99 BIN last night.  That makes three, if SSW ever gets back on line.  Green clone, yellow clone pilot and this one.

I suspect it would be prudent to pre-order the stormtrooper.  Thoughts?

Luke as Stormtrooper GG MiniBust
 >:(  Ok I have missed all the Exclusive Mini Busts except for the Blue Clone. I missed out on the Clone Pilot and the Green Clone. Now GG is making a Luke in Stormtrooper Bust for the Conventions. Only 3,500 of them. I would have thought from last years  fiasco they would make more.

I hope I can attend Wizards World in hopes of getting Luke. I doubt it though. The GG Mini Bust line is making me very mad. It is getting way too hard to collect them. Depending if I can get the Luke will determine if I stay with the line or drop out and sell the ones I have.

What are your thoughts on this really neat Luke Bust?
For those of you looking for me. I am now at www.sandtroopers.com

Did you notice this in their news post?

Comic Con International San Diego - July 21-25, 2004

The remaining quantities of each piece will be made available exclusively online to members of Gentle Giant's Collector's Club after the shows.

The following measures will be in effect in an effort to make the exclusives as widely available as possible:

I hope they learned their lesson last year.
