It would be nice if it was Aayla, Barris, Bly and 2 Starcorps. But most likely it'll be Aayla Bly and 3 Starcorps.  :-\
I remember my dream now.

I wouldn't mind:
1x Bly
1x Aayla
2x Star Corps
1x Ground beetle.

There's no way there can be 4 figures & a beetle. Unless the beetle is under-scaled.

I think this could be a possible lineup.  After all, this is set to be a Target exclusive Battle Pack, right?  And Hasbro has stated that the exclusive Battle Packs tend to get new offerings instead of the wide release Battle Packs.  Plus, if you look at past offerings, we've seen decent pack-ins with the Target Battle Packs.  Senate Pod anyone?

It should be in the comic 2-packs, otherwise it'll be a re-paint. ::)

They aren't in any comics, so it can't be in the comic 2-packs. :P

The thing that kind of irritates me about this whole "Gossam Commando" movement (and I'm not referring to anyone in particular) has to do with the idea of the Commerce Guild/Trade Federation/Corporate Alliance/Techno Union/etc in the story of the films themselves.

It's well established that the reason the TF uses Battle Droids to begin with is because they're cowards and wanted troops that would listen to every command they gave without question.  In other words, a total automaton military force.  The makeup of the Separatist armies which combined all these forces in AOTC/CW cartoon/ROTS was, as well, a complete automaton army, although at that point there was a bit more in the way of self-motivated droid intelligence (Grievous' MagnaGuards, Super Battle Droids to an extent, etc).  The impression given is that the companies that make up the Separatists/CIS are selfish and more concerned with their own species safety, so droids are an easily-produced and easily-expendable surrogate that keeps the species behind the military commands safe from harm (theoretically, since they all get killed by Vader anyway).

That's why the Gossam Commandos bother me, conceptually.  To have a bunch of Shu Mais running around with oversized cannons, putting their own lives on the line and contradicting their entire profit-driven motivation, is really at odds with what has been established in the films as their raison d'etre.  Plus the Gossam Commandos look silly to me.  :P

After all, this is set to be a Target exclusive Battle Pack, right?  And Hasbro has stated that the exclusive Battle Packs tend to get new offerings instead of the wide release Battle Packs.

I'm thinking along these same lines, Nick.  Hasbro made a point of saying that the mass-release BPs will be almost completely repacks with slight retooling, while a bit more would be put into the exclusive BPs (concept-wise, anyway) since they would not need to appeal to such a wide audience.  A Gelagrub could work if done in a "pack-in" way, or hey, there's no real rule that says they have to fit in the traditional BP box (maybe they could do a "Screen Scene" style box like the Geonosian War Room/Jedi Council sets from 2003).  Still, it would be possible to fit a scale-fudged Gelagrub in a slightly wider BP box, but it wouldn't be displayed in an "awesome" way.

If they did go that route, here's what I'd expect:

1 x Aayla Secura (slight repaint of ROTS figure)
1 x Commander Bly (hopefully correctly painted ROTS figure)
1 x Felucia Clone Trooper (repack of Evolutions Felucia Clone)
1 x Felucia Clone Trooper (repaint of AT-TE Gunner, specifically for the legs, so he can ride the Gelagrub)
1 x Felucia Gelagrub with saddle

If they wanted to be really nice, they could just put the Tank Gunner legs and a soft goods kama on the Evolution Felucia Clone, but I doubt they'd go that far with this set.

Not necessarily... the exclusive Battle Packs is where Hasbro promised us new stuff after all.

Now, whether the new stuff in this BP turns out to be cool (like a Senate Pod or #41 Shocktroopers) or underrated (like made up the EU Mace Clones), well that still remains to be seen.

Either way, Hasbro has already confirmed that this pack is going to have re-issues of the Evolutions Felucia Clones and that is worth it to me already...  ;)

Well I hope you are right and I'm wrong.  I did note your comments regarding the differences between wide releases and exclusives for the battle packs, but I was just on a roll :P

Hmm..yes that is correct Jeff they did promise us that but, looking at THFG battle pack from TRU(exclusive) I don't consider anything very new in that pack. A repaint yes, but nothing new figure-wise. Unless, of course, you look at the new gatling laser gun-pretty lame for something-new IMO. Don't get me wrong though a little small I liked that gun, but when I'm told 'something new' I'm looking for something bigger like an accessory or figure. Perhaps Hasbro should have stated post Comic Con 'all battlepacks exclusive to retailers from this point forward will have something new in them.'

With that said I don't trust them that all these new BP's will have something new..time will tell though. <and I don't consider a repaint or kitbash as a new anything either>

Well, unfortunately for you, Hasbro does consider Clone repaints and kit-bash figures as "new" when it comes to these exclusive Battle Packs.  In fact, when you look at the all of the 2006 exclusive Battle Packs (not just THFG BP), you'll see that the majority of the "new" items in them are just repaints/kitbashes.

- Target Skirmish in the Senate: Senate Pod (new item)
- Target Skirmish in the Senate Shocktrooper (#41 repaint)
- TRU Hunt for General Grievous: Fordo (Kit-Bash)
- TRU Hunt for General Grievous: Clone Heavy Gunner (Kit-Bash & Repaint)
- Target Mace Windu's Attack Battalion: Clone Trooper (#41 Repaint)
- Target Mace Windu's Attack Battalion: Clone Commander (2007 Airborne Clone Repaint)
