Brad and I were discussing this item. Brad actually had me considering putting a bid in for this but decided against it. Awesome item!

I think its cool, but I will be happy with one that looks identical to it, with a plaque signed by Sam Jackson. And as a matter of fact, that will happen soon! :) The AOTC Windu Saber goes on sale for Collectors Society members on July 1! And there will be a signature edition!

I have an artist proof for the Return of the Jedi Luke Skywalker lightsaber (from Master Replicas), and its really cool, but absolutely identical to the normal version.

This one-of-a-kind lightsaber sold for a whopping $7,201 on eBay!!!   :o  It must be nice to have that kind of money to throw around.

Master Replicas Obi Wan Saber as seen in A New Hope
« Reply #38 on: July 7, 2003, 10:48 PM »
Got my weathered ANH Obi Wan saber today, and it is by far my favorite Master Replicas piece so far! So far I've collected all of their props, and this one really sets a new standard as far as detail and quality are concerned.

Here's some pictures, sorry they are so huge, but I wanted to preserve as much detail as possible:

(Images are uploading as Im posting, so they may not yet be available)

Dang, that sucker looks real.  Pretty cool, but out of my price range, for the time being.

That lightsaber looks great!  It does look real, almost like you could actual light that puppy up to have yourself a good 'old lightsaber duel with someone.  I also like the metal grate you have it sitting on.

Thanks! The grating is part of my Star Tours room conversion, a base for some shelves. Im actually pretty flattered that you said "metal grate", as that was the look I was going for! Its actually just plastic! :)

Great photo's.  I'm almost tempted to get one now.  I got the clean version and I think it would be cool to have both of them together (one above the other).  Too bad I couldn't get the same number that I got for my clean one...that would be awesome!!
