And you would be right. ;)

The turret might be part of the base.

VERY tricky, VERY tricky. At first sight it really seems to be the surface elements of the first Death Star, BUT the guns are suspicious!!!  ::) Perhaps it is the surface of a Republic Destroyer OR a Trade Federation Battle Cruiser.... ???

Anyone been reading on Scum about the Vader helmets?  Practically everyone who has received one received it damaged or scuffed in some way!  Go check out the thread in the Props forum.  What a disaster, especially on something that expensive.

It's wrong to be happy about others' misery, but since I couldn't justify that piece, I'm happy (in a twisted way) they aren't arriving in great shape.  Of course since I have two clone helmets coming, I should probably shut my yap because the same will probably happen to me.

You are right though Jason, that is a disaster and a horrible thing to have happen.

It's times like this that it's easy to see why so many people respected you back during your "Durge" phase...  ::)

Pretty sweet…

Any idea to the identity of the R2 unit in there. I haven't seen one with the red stripe under the dome before.

Carefull, he might think you're implying that people respect him now, which is far from the case.
 ;D

Anyway....this version looks pretty much identical to what they showed at the con.  I really liked the theory that it was multiple pieces, and it seems like kind of a letdown that it's just a ship we've already seen before.

The stand is very cool though.  I like how they incorporated the gun turret into the stand to create an action sequence rather than just a static Y-Wing.

Yes, let me state for the record - Durge/Cody is an arrogant, annoying **** - and is not respected. At all.

So...

The ship is sexy, and I like the stand, I just wish there were more to it... To nitpick a bit more, I'd also prefer to see an R5, instead of an R2 (and I don't know who the R2 could be, Jay). Nice piece, though.

The studio scale items are way out of my price range.  Hell, I've been pushing it with the sabers.  They do look nice though.

As far as the Vader Helmets go, what a shame that MR dropped the ball on shipping these.  For the price each one of those helmets are, they should arrive in pristine condition.  Are the getting damaged in shipping due to bad packaging or was it something else?

This is the way.

They've dropped the ball on the other helmets too :o  No COA or plaque in some of the already shipped helmets.  I received the email that this has happened, so mine won't arrive until it's fixed.  Guess this doesn't qualify as July/August '05 ;)

The more I see that Shock Trooper helmet, the more I want one.  They are all close to $600 on ebay.  Awesome piece.
