It's not the EPI OOM-9 though.

That's cool, but a tad annoying though (armybuilding wise.) Also looks like different droid molds than the Final 22 2-pack.

Yeah, looks like the AOTC and ROTS basic Battle Droid.

Hopefully the Commander won't have the backpack in the final product.

Robo-Quack: Sorry to rain on your parade, but the clones are most likely not two-packs. I believe that Big Bad Toy Store shows all of the contents of the case, thus leading to two clones being pictured.

Now clone 2-packs!? :o
What next scout  2-packs! :o :o
The droid pack looks like the ROTS figure, sweet  they said we're getting Geonosis BDs so maybe a Geo BD coomander! :O Good commanders finally!
Even the re-pack waves for next year are awesome!

I am BEYOND thrilled that one of the two droids is being repainted as OOM-9.  The Trophy Edition version has been one of my personal holy grails for the last 7 years, and even though this isn't the same thing, if the AOTC/ROTS body holds true, it might just be the next best thing.

I'm also extremely happy that Hasbro is going to (hopefully) go with the AOTC/ROTS BD body sculpt as opposed to the AOTC Droid Assembly Line sculpt.  Not that the latter isn't a good sculpt with superior plastic, but at least this version has better articulation at the elbows and (particularly) the head and neck.

I'm still not too happy with the case assortment ratios, though.  The ROTS Clone which, at best, only appeared in the background of certain shots should probably have been at 1 per case with the SA Shocktrooper at 2.  The AOTC Clone needs to be packed in every subsequent case outside of this one because it's going to be a bitch to find if it's not.  The currently shipping Clone Sergeant from the Saga line seems to be the hardest to find figure of the final 22, and I'm thinking a plain white Clone will be even more difficult than that.

And, another minor personal gripe:  if they're going to continue to flog the horribly underscaled Grievous, could they at least paint him correctly?

True, but we can always take the backpack off. ;)

Why does the shock need to be packed x 2 a case? He's warming like hell in my area & don't give me that "better body sculpt" excuse, who actually has their shocks using their ball-joint waist in display?

I love the OOM-9 and will love him even more if they go ahead and do the Geonosis version in the next wave.  I agree the Shocktrooper should be two per case - none of these clones should be anything less.  It sort of defeats the purpose.

I'll just give you one collector's point of view.  I saw the #6 clone sculpt of the shock clone over the past few months about 25-30 times.  I passed on all of them.

Had it been the SA #41 version, I'd have passed on none of them.   That is, I'd have bought them all.

Those birthin' hips have got to go on the #6 version.

I also bought 5 battle packs just for the SA shockies.
