Oh, that one?   That was probably on hand more for use as a packaging mockup than actual product.  You'll notice that there is no coin in the blister.  The final product in the Saga Legends line should have a movie coin, and not an individual character coin.  So in the case of that particular Clone you should be seeing a Revenge Of The Sith coin, but again there is none in that blister.

Right.

You can also tell it's a mock up by the visible red die cut lines.

I'm sure the SA sculpt will ship and they just used whatever white clone figure that had lying around the office that day.  Only astute collectors would catch it.

Most retail buyers would not.

Also, there's no blister coffin.

I was just looking at the pics of the 1st wave of these over at RS, and sadly, seeing the "movie specific" coins kind of makes me want to get one figure from each movie at least just to get these coins.  Stoopid coin album and me wanting it complete :P.

Yeah, I'm not gonna buy all of them, just a few interest me... but since I'm a TAC coin-addict I'm gonna have to make sure I'm able to get at least 1 from each movie, too. Maybe I'll get help with a local army builder.

I'm both happy and disappointed at the same time with some of those pictures.

Happy:  The ROTS Clone Trooper is the ROTS 41 SA sculpt without all those little brown marks, making it our first totally clean SA version of the ROTS Clones.

Disappointed:  Hasbro used the 2002 Saga Deluxe Battle Droid body/bodies after all for the Battle Droid two pack.  Crap.

Those battledroids are indeed pathetic...  I cannot believe Hasbro would rehash those and not at least the E1 sculpt.  It's at least semi-poseable.  Hell, try putting the ROTS sculpt's arms on an E1 body.  It'd be a nice figure I'd think...  It'd at least hold a friggin' blaster right.

The coins are a little annoying too but I'm sure I can BS buying some of these...  I just know I'm passing on droids and other crap they're dishing out.

I was looking forward to those Battle Droids so much since the prototypes used the ROTS sculpt. That mold isn't perfect due to the articulation and flimsy plastic but at least it's a great sculpt and can hold the blaster the right way. I'm thinking that the only figure I'll be getting is the Clone, since it's clean. Some of these figures should have never been repacked though, and will be warming well into the start of 2008 line.

It may be totally clean but it is essentially another Clone that never existed in ROTS in the first place. I wish it was the Coruscant Clone (gray deco) at least.

And that Yoda, packed with the EII coin on an EII card but it's an EIII Yoda with EIII accessories.  ::)

I am now even more excited to get this particular Darth Maul. He is far better than some of the other sculpts around, but at first I was kind of hesitant due to the crappy head on the 1999 version (top), but it look slike there is a new head this time around (bottom). Very cool!   8)

I'm happy that each character is not getting it's own coin. That's about the most positive thing I can say about this line.
