Are the red Battle Droids out yet?

No.  The red droid 2-pack is shipping in Wave 2, which I haven't seen anyone report finding yet...

Wave 2 should be showing up this week or next.  My source gets stuff about 3-4 weeks before the US and they've had them for about 3-4 weeks now.

Really?  That saves me some effort.  But I've only seen the Commander and Battle Droid 2-pack so far.  No sign of the blasted or sliced versions in my neck of the woods yet.

I saw some Wave 2 Legends this morning - Liea in Bousch disguise, Destroyer Droid, and Obi-Wan Pilot.  Obviously, all passes but it seems that this wave has at least started to hit retail.

I can't speak for Brent (I think he's in the mid-west), but the store reports that have been mailed to me from various JD readers have said Target and most of those were West Coast locations - CA & AZ.

I've only seen WM reports myself, but I'm glad to hear Target is getting them too.

NewForce is now shipping Wave 2 and Wave 2.5 (also called Wave 2, Revision 1). 

Should be hitting all over the place very soon I'd think...

Jedijaybird picked up the Sandtrooper today in Minnesota. So they're starting to sprout up.

I picked up the Sandtrooper, Red Battle Droids and the 501st yesterday. I like the paint change-up on the Sandtrooper. It's kind of neat to see the paint application from one mold placed on another. As for the 501st, I hadn't planned on picking one up, but seeing that the feet were clean, it was a good enough variation for me to pick up one.
