Picked up 4 of the 8 Wal-Mart exclusives tonight:

Cactus McQueen
Al Oft the Lightyear Blimp
Ghostlight Ramone
TJ Hummer

At Wal-Mart...there was no sign of the other 4 (Kori Turbowitz, Bruiser Bukowski, Piston Cup Pace Car and Barney Stormin) but these were in mass abundance in a Cars display

Nice find on the Walmart cars.  According to posts over at the Spawn board, only the first four that you found are out now.  Those last four have yet to be seen apparently.

I didnt even know about the walmart exclusives. Some are pretty cool. I hate the thought of having to go to the walmart near me though.  :-\

I saw Cactus McQueen, Ghostlight Ramone, and Al Oft today at a local Wal-Mart.  They had about three of each, but no TJ.

Ended up seeing the first 'new' stock of Cars at Target in over a month now.  Too bad it was all older Supercharged releases, but it was good to see them back on the pegs at Target.

Just an FYI for you Cars collectors, the Supercharged Sarge Car was part of the latest Mattel recall involving lead paint. I've bought a couple of these cars, and some I've given to my little girls. I have a Sarge that has the lead paint problem, but thankfully hadn't yet given it to my girls. I'll follow up to let you know how smooth/unsmooth the recall process is.

Well, received my $7 voucher in the mail the other day. It's good for any Mattel/Fisher-Price product. The whole process was pretty smooth and I'm actually surprised at how quickly I received it; I was thinking it would be many, many months.

Too bad they couldn't send you a new Sarge - he'll be pretty tough to track down at retail.

Speaking of retail - what should I be looking for?

I have no clue who's available outside of the eight? WM exclusives.

Jr, Cartrip, Andretti and Cutlass.  The Target Dinoco 400 set is also coming soon.  5 old Cars and 3 new racers.  Not bad for $30.  ::)

I just found out about the Michael Schumacher Ferrari (where have I been, right?)... my dad's a big fan of the guy (the actual racer  ;) ) Thought I might pick one up. The local TRU is backlogged with all the older figures, local Target didn't carry the smaller diecasts... Any pointers?

I saw these all over the place out by me over the last month.  The next time I go on a run, I'll take a look for one and let you know if I run across it.

Found a lone Darryl Cartrip (New World of Cars packaging) at Target.  Then at Shopko, they had an entire wall of the new 2 Packs and picked up the last Fred and Dusty Rusteeze and finally got a Mrs and Mr King pack.  Still looking for:

Dale Jr

I found a case of the "World of Cars" line this morning at Target.  I grabbed a Cartrip and Andretti for myself and a Pit Crew Doc, Pit Crew Fillmore, and Dinoco Helicopter for a friend.
