'Hi, you mean the other bidder right!
that bidder can't pay with paypal, i don't accept money order, so i
must
cancel his bid before the auction ended time. I understand what you
mean, he
try to bid again after i cancel his bid as I can see, I will try to
contact
bathing & will report that guy to ebay. Also, I will send you the photo
tonight.'

this is what he replied me..

OK, wait. The seller cancelled the bid because he only accepts Paypal, no problem there.

So bathingxchimp bid $225.00 Mar-25-06 04:41:46 PST, then the seller cancells the bid Mar-25-06 06:13:25 PST.

Then bathingxchimp bids shortly after the cancellation twice, Mar-25-06 06:14:52 PST for $215.00 then Mar-25-06 06:15:11 PST for US $220.00.

You bid $220.00 on Mar-24-06 21:15:52 PST.

Those 2 bids from bathingxchimp should also be cancelled which would drop the price down to your $200.00 on Mar-24-06 20:43:25 PST.

It looks like you bid the $200.00 then came in twice with a double proxy me thinks. One at $205.00 then another at $220.00 I think.

Am I seeing this right, does this make any sense?  :-\

Sellers from Richmond, BC. One province over, I can't help you on that.

So he offers $193.50 & it's Paypal. Hmmm, if you do go for it & it turns out to be a bust you can always complain to Paypal & hopefully get your $$$ back if done in the time frame.

Did you also see the Questions from other members on the auction?

It's all up to you yujun on how to proceed.

Tan,

You can start the paypal payment procedure and see if they offer you "buyer protection" insurance.  This will give you a good idea of whether they will be able to help you in a pinch.  Normally, if they do not offer the buyer guarantee on the auction page or during payment, the only way they can refund you is if he happens to leave enough dough in the account when you dispute.  I personally would risk it seeing as he seems to shill on all auctions but in the end deliver, judging by his feedback history.  193.50 for a carded Bape Fett with bubble intact is just skating the line between deal and "too good to be true."

All I can say is, "Do you feel lucky.... well do ya?"

This is definately fraud, and ebay should be removing both user-ids from the site.

I would back out on principal. This guy is a crook. There are plenty of non-crooks to get our fixes from.

Even if he dings you with negative feedback, once his id is closed, it will not count against you.

i saw the pics and the bottom of the card looks severely damaged. i asked for a close-up one but he didnt want to provide. 193.50 was his best price anyway. he didnt answer any of my questions regarding bathingchimp. anyway the deal is off. he was quite nice abt it. no ranting. jst say he'll keep the kubrick and hope to deal again.  :P

This was probably the best way to go, especially now that you know how
beat up the card is. You can get a loose one for a bit cheaper! lol

So the 1st pic in the auction is not the same as the carded figure he has, that Boba looks to be in pretty darn good condition. This might explain why the other 2 pics are cropped off at the bottom.

You did the best thing by backing out yujun.
