Updating my super wishlist from a few years ago

http://www.jedidefender.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=12836.msg195864#msg195864

Series 3 (Return of the Jedi)

Emperor
Emperor's Royal Guard
C-3PO
Stormtrooper
Darth Vader (no helmet variant)
Jedi Luke Skywalker
Slave Leia (Chase)

Series 4 (ANH Redux)
Tarkin
X-Wing Luke (Chase helmets)
Jawa
R5-D4
TIE Pilot
Hammerhead
Walrusman (Chase)

Series 5 (ESB Redux)
Yoda
Lando Calrissian
Hoth Han
Snowtrooper
Bespin Leia
Bepsin Luke (bloody variant)
Lobot (Chase)

Series 6 (ROTJ Redux)
Bib Fortuna
Gamorrean Guard
Skiff Lando

Luke Palace
Boussh (Helmetless variant)
Ewok or 2
Admiral Ackbar (Chase)

Soooo

I really still think we need:

ERG
Tarkin
Gamorrean Guard
Skiff Lando
Boussh (Helmetless variant)
Scout Trooper
Snowtrooper
Bespin Leia
Lobot
Hammerhead
Bib Fortuna

I'll also throw in to my wishlist pot:

Power Droid
FX-7
2-1B
Luke Skywalker (Hoth)
Princess Leia (Hoth)
Ugnaught
Ree Yees
Yakface
Tessek
Barada
Klaatu
Nikto
Amanaman

***************************************************************

The idea of a Jabba box set is a great one and one that is a no brainer, pack in a Salacious, Bib and Oola and you are talking product of the decade

I also hope for another TRU box set that will help flesh out some of the more obscure aliens

I really think there is room for at least one more Series from Empire Strikes Back

Series 8

Luke Skuywalker (Hoth)
Princess Leia (Hoth)
Lobot
Imperial Stormtrooper (Hoth)
2-1B
Ugnaught
Princess Leia (bespin) CHASE
FX-7 CHASE
Hoth Rebel Soldier CHASE

Somehow we NEED a Hammerhead as well, that is probably A#1 on the must haves

Series 7 ROCKS!!!!!! 2 figures that I've been dying for since I started, and the rest are really good too.

Even Anakin isn't bad, even though he is the least impressive.

At least its the old anakin, not that super duper special ed. version of him.
I really think this is the 2nd best set so far, and thats before we know the chases!

Someone mentioned it before, but I really hope the chases aren`t revealed as well.
I really think Insider ****** up putting that picture in there, the Medicom folks probably had a stroke when they saw that  :o

Found this pic. Is it of the chase Wedge? The helmet is a different colour to the Luke one so I guess it is.

I went into Newbury Comics today and I saw their "Upcoming Release" Bulletin board behind the registers. The board listed Star Wars Kubricks Series 6 for a July 19th release date (priced @ $17.99 each). It's one of the reason why I prefer ordering via the internet. A set of six (besides the 5-7% sales tax) comes out to $107.94. That's  a helluva markup and the reason why I prefer ordering the a case of twelve instead. It was nice seeing an exact shipment date for those though...

The box designs look wicked. Great colours.

I always loved the little quotes on the box for each Series, which is where my ID comes from.

Series 1 - "He's no good to me dead."
Series 2 - "Chespo kutata kreestan krenko, nyakoska!" (My Fav)
Series 3 - "He's worth a lot to me."
Series 4 - "You don't know the power of the dark side."
Series 5 - "Judge me by my size,do you?"
Series 6 - ? (Does anybody remember it?)

I see that each figure has its own quote on the box this time.

So far...
Luke (X-Wing) - "This is Red 5. I'm going in."
Tie Fighter Pilot - "Its an Imperial fighter!"
Imperial Commander - "This battle station is the ultimate power in the universe." ???(Can anyone read it? I have saturday night beer goggles on and I'm crap at Star Wars trivia.)

Woah, cool pic there Simon.  Thanks for showing us the new look...  Now hurry up and go open some more!

Funny lines there.  The TIE Pilot never said that, in fact I think the only line a TIE Pilot ever spoke was "Look out!" to Vader as Han swooped in on the first Death Star.  That "Battlestation..." line is from Motti, I think, to Vader or Tarkin on the first Death Star (not from the Imp. Naval Trooper there).  Oh well, close enough I suppose...

Enjoy your beer!  Kirin, Saparo, or Fosters?  :P

P.S.  I always wondered why you picked your forum name...  'Bout time we got an explanation!

Thanks for the pic Simon!
Damn they look good, those boxes really pop out at ya.
Its going to be a long 2 week wait now, ha!

From a post over at KW, they were selling series 6 at the show, one of the members grabbed a set.

I buy fosters when the local place is out of everything else! The only place that sells the really good stuff is over an hour away, we usually get some Belgian ale.
mmmmm affligem
