I am not a Kubrick expert at all but what is up with that Wicket?  By the way the other figures look really nice IMO.  But Wicket looks like something from another line than Star Wars.  Is it?

Wicket is NOT a Kubrick, he is a Be@rbrick.

It is another line that Medicom makes.  When he was originally released in that line as a regular figure, he was an uber-chase figure (1:192).

Here is the orginal version with his box:

Somewhere in our many Kubrick threads he is discussed... let's see if I can find the linky.

Here's the page for the Series 6 Kubricks on Medicom, but I can't get the Japanese translated to get a release date, it doesn't seem to display properly.

Over at KW, they are saying June for a release date.
So... June-August for them I would guess.

So from the original 12 vintage figures, we now have
Chewbacca (EB)
R2D2 (EB)
Leia (EB)
Luke (EB)
Han Solo (series 2)
Jawa (Series 2)
Tusken Raider (Series 2)
Obi Wan (series 2)
C-3PO (series 3)
Stormtrooper (series 4)
Darth Vader (series 4)
and now....
;DDeath Star Trooper (AKA death squad commander) (series 6) ;D

I may have to get a mastercase this time around...

I love Medicom website update day... especially when there is so much SW news.

On the topic of Series 6, it does sounds like June will be the month, but we all know how that goes so July is more likely for release and I'm sure August will be the month most of us get them in our hands.   :)

As for the choices, I think they are pretty good overall.  Two Imp troops and a droid, Two rebel troops and a droid.  I'd have to guess that the cases will be heavy with Luke and TIE Pilot, maybe one of the troopers too?

Here was my wish/guess list for Series 6:

Series 6:
1.  Luke X-Wing Pilot (3:12) w/Wedge Antilles & Biggs Darklighter Chases (1:48 each)
2.  TIE Pilot (3:12) w/DS Trooper Chase (3:48)
3.  Walrusman   Wuher (1:12)
4.  Hammerhead (1:12)
5.  Grand Moff Tarkin (3:12)
6.  Garindan (1:12)

Looks like I get two off my wish list (Luke and TIE Pilot) and a bonus DS Trooper I thought would be a chase (didn't think they'd put two army builders in there at once let alone 3).  Not too shabby, if I do say so myself.   :P

As for the chases, well I hope they pull another "Ponda Baba"-esque random chase on us.  I'd love to find a Hammerhead in a TIE Pilot box this time around.  He's the last of the Vinty Cantina Aliens and my Ponda, Greedo, and Snags are lonely without him.   ;)

I would love to see a hammerhead and Garindan. I was just ranting on the bust-up page earlier about chase figures, and was trying to put myself in a zen sort of mode- only collecting what I find and not going crazy to find/buy/bid chase figs. Well, put those two out as kubricks, and say goodbye to plan zen.

The only impressive piece in this wave is X-Wing Luke. The others are needed for a complete collection of character, but they're nothing too exciting. I hope there are some cool chase figures. Maybe a Han Solo with Medal this time?

My favourite is definitely the TIE Fighter Pilot, but having 3 army-builders is very cool.  Luke is great too, but it would have been nice to have another "main" character instead of one of the droids, just for some balance.

BTW, I've never heard the 5th one called RA-7.  He'll always be the Death Star Droid in my mind.  ;)

After this wave we'll have nine Luke figures (counting Luke as Vader) and seven Han figures. Luke has caught up nicely.

Carded Blonde although its sort of a fine point

And, Luke (14) had many more outfits than Han (10)

Farmboy
Stormtrooper
X-Wing Pilot
Ceremonial
Hoth
Bacta
Snowspeeder
Dagobah
Luke/Vader
Bespin
Medical Frigate
Jabba's Palace
Endor
Death Star II

Cantina
Stormtrooper
Ceremonial
Hoth
Bespin
Carbon Freeze/Hybernation
Carbon Block
ROTJ General
Endor
AT-ST

A couple of those are really pushing it (ROTJ Han without Robe, Ceremonial)
