Series 6

Hey everyone,

I mentioned this over at KW so it may be a repeat for some of you.   I think we should keep track of our Master case #'s to see if we can spot a pattern with the chases.  The case number is at the lower left hand corner.  The number is hand written.   I have 6 master cases coming in so I'll try to see if my buyers will let me know which one they got.  I'm keeping two cases for carding.   Just a thought.

I think the chases will go for around $100 initially and then they will increase over the vext few months as they fall into the hands of collectors. Some of the older ones from Series 1, 2 and 3 are going for big bucks these days as we have seen. I think a $119 BIN is market value.

They are all distributed in Hong Kong I guess. They must order like 100 cases or something.

Is it just me, or does there seem to be an awful lot of Veers around. I remember when Series 5 and there were loads of Walrusmen around and then after a few months the Blue Snags became more common. I wonder if the initial shippments come with one chase and later shipments come with the other.

Just out of curiosity what does a master case set one back ?
I know i'm gonna fall over when you guys spill how much you guys drop on these things but i'm curious, and when you buy a master and open the lot what do you guys do with the spares?

I'm getting my first master case this time around, for $300.00. The way I look at it, I will keep two sets, sell two sets for about 45 each, an extra 1:24 chase will sell for 25-30, and 4 extra lukes will get me an extra 20. that means I will recover about 140.00, meaning I spent 160 for a 1:96 chase, a 1:24 chase, two full sets, plus a bunch of army builders (I likes me them imperials). Of course this is all theory for me at this time, but Kubrick prices are among the most stable out there for star wars collectibles.

For Series 5, I got 3 cases and both 1:48 Chases if that helps.  I think it has something to do with those case #'s.  Hmmmm.

Just won a Jorg Sacul on Yahoo Japan.   

It will end up being about $250.00 after shipping and fees.  I think this one will eventually drop from $300.00, but I don't think it will get as low as Vader considering it is a different character.
