So Dale - was your Tarkin in the first box that was flipped around, like Simon's? And were the Wedges in the next box from that?

Yes & yes.  :)

You could try HLJ, $91.26 US per box plus shipping. Maybe someone else has another place to try out.

I woke up this morning determined to catch up after loosing auctions for the last six months on the Rebo Band box set.

Picked this up and offered the seller $159.95 shipped (free shipping) which he agreed to.

While I was at it I bought the following:

Veers

Wedge

Series 6

After four back and forth e-mails the seller offered me a great deal...at least I think so of $176.00 shipped registered air mail for everything  :) ;) :D ;D!

Now on to finding that Tarkin...

Congrat's.  talltallcat is an awesome seller , very friendly and reliable.

Kubrick Star Wars #6: 1 Box (12pcs)

I should have been more clear, I meant medicom display cases.

I posted some thoughts on acquiring these puppies over at the kubrickworld forum here>>>

I ordered a box of 12 from BBTS a little while back...While, I'm anxiously awaiting to receive my order, I'll be honest I'm doubtful that I'll even have a chance to get my first chase. it seems like Medicom is making things easier to find the correct boxes with the chases as previously reported. I'm still unsure if I should buy of the chase figs off e-bay now regardless if i'm getting a box in.

I would check your box first- I was very pleasantly surprised when buying a single box of series 4 from Toynk.com.  I bought it for the extra stormtroopers, and hit two Luke stormies. Of course, I had already plopped down the cash for the chases on the bay, and now I hang on to these as trade bait.

Yep, historically guys have hit on chase figures from retailers previously.  I've never had the luck, but others ordering from HLJ.com scored.  BBTS is probably the same.

I think if the retailer isn't offering up chase figures either in the online store or from their ebay account, then you have decent odds.  If they are selling stuff separately, then yeah, they've probably figured out where the figures are just like folks here have.

As for buying chase figures on ebay, I don't think there's a big hurry.  Not much on there yet, so most cases probably aren't even at their destination yet.  Those of us that order from Robby.jp get them pretty fast, only a week or so behind Japan, so many people won't have them yet.  The minor chase (Wedge) will drop in price for a while and the other "big" chase figures will settle out around the $100 mark for a bit.  Then probably climb once they make it into collectors hands.

Now, there's this funny little box beside me....

Padawan, do you have your case number handy?  Curious to see if it can be predicted on that basis.  I'm expecting since mine is coming from Robby and shipped the same as these other guys, it'll end up being Tarkin for me as well.

763.

Thanks kindly, mine is 363.  Looks pretty similar to Dale's arrangement (and Simon's) with the first box turned around.

 :o

My box setup is different from Dale's.

His was:
R4M9      Tie      RA-7
Luke       Luke   RFT
Tie          DST    DST
Tie          Tie      Luke

Mine was:

R4M9      Tie       Luke
Luke      Luke    RFT
RA-7      DST      DST
Tie         Tie       Tie

Totally weird packing job on this box, though I'm not complaining because the only open box so far is that Tie Fighter Pilot in the top row and it is indeed Tarkin!

Proving I'm a loon with my fourth post in a row....

Next box had the Wedge(s) in it, so I'm good to go.

Nice score Brent!

I'm hoping for Tarkin in my case as well, but there is a good chance their prices will be very similar anyhow for whichever one I have to buy. I suppose I could get super lucky, since I am getting one extra box of 12 from Jeff as well. But he is justifiably occupied at the moment, so I will have to be patient.
