Has anyone else heard the rumblings of a secret Jango Fett 'brick being handed out at a Medicom Party in Japan?

I heard it was limited to 50 pieces, no word on packaging yet.

Is that Jango for real? Looks like a painted Boba Kuby but a chase one or a Droids Boba by the looks of the belt. Looking at my Boba, that does look like a repainted Droids Boba, same Gauntlet on the left arm, modified backpack, you can even see where the Wookie scalps have been cut off.

I don't buy it!

Yeah it's a custom. Something fun to do with a few spare Bobas lying around the house. I'm guessing the guns are from an AOTC's Jango.

You won't collect prequels? I'd like to see ya try to resist. Imagine those great figures like Darth Maul, and....., um..... and um........Jar Jar? OK Medicom doesn't have a great deal to choose from. Gee, I reckon even a Clone Wars set would be more exciting. At leasty those characters have a bit of, well, character.

I have to say that I'd be pretty surprised if Medicom didn't try to capitalize on the ROTS madness with a ROTS wave of figures, just to test out how Prequel Kubricks would do.  If Medicom gave us a promise in writing that there'd just be one wave for each prequel flick, and NO chases, then I'd probably bite on it.

But there's no way in bloody hell I'm gonna be dropping $75ish on Prequel chase figures.  Screw that crap!

Nice list, I like your ideas for chase figures.  If I worked for Medicom and wanted to really create mass hysteria, I'd make Leia Boushh the regular figure and Slave Leia the chase, but at 1:96.  Can you imagine what some of us geeks would spend to get it?
