Finally took a pic last night of those Johnny Lightning Cases

I have 6 of them and I can't wait to get done remodeling to get these babies on the wall.  Once on the wall, there shouldn't be a need for stands as they are pretty stable

Well, I've got an announcement I never thought I was going to make...

Somewhat due to financial problems, somewhat due to changing interests, somewhat due to not being blown away by Series 3 (the Ewoks just upset me), I am resigning from the throne of king of lower Kubricktopia (DSJ is, of course, king of upper Kubricktopia).

In other words, I'm retiring from collecting SW Kubricks. After I conclude my final Kubrick transaction with Simon, I will be taking a permanent leave of absence from the Kubrick hobby. I guess the exclusives/chase figures/etc finally had their toll on me, and my lack of a proper display for my loose figures finally pushed me away.

I'm hoping I can find someone that wanted to get into the hobby, but felt like it was too late to get started, so I can sell everything off in one fell swoop.

Wow, that's sad to see one of our original crew throw in the towel.  Agreed that Series 3 isn't all its cracked up to be but there is a lot of life left to live here with this line

If you need a home for any Fetts I may be interested...I could understand thinking of selling them as a lot though too

Check this out

Its the factory where Kubricks are made...pretty nice set up, all hand painting it looks like too.  If you hit the links on the lower left side you can see different parts of the process

I was reading a thread over at Kubrickworld saying that nobody has ever been to Medicom HQ and its just basically a group of guys sitting around saying what can we make next.  But everything is very top secret hush hush...which is both cool, strange and weird all in one

Yes Adam! Very sad as you were one of the first onto this fantasic line of Star Wars stuff. But as a said to you in a private mail, your problems are well documented in this thread and we will all understand your need to refocus. I wish you well in future, but be sure to hang around JD and give us you opinions on up and coming Kubricks!!

AAAHHH!!!  Don't say it's so Adam...   :'(

Crap.  Really sorry to see you go bud.  One of our original Kubrick crew here...   :-\  If selling your loot as a lot doesn't work out, LMK, as I'd still be interested in a cheap extra Droids R2, like we'd talked about before.

So are you just going to stick with the MR prop replicas from now on, or do you have any other SW collecting focuses left?

Damn.  This stinks.
