So are you just going to stick with the MR prop replicas from now on, or do you have any other SW collecting focuses left?

Dont worry, I'll still hang out here and at JD in general :)

I'm sticking with Star Wars, I just brought on way too much way too quick. My interest has shifted more to movie props, somewhat at the expense of Star Wars, but not entirely. There are still items Im going to pick up, like the new VOTC line (just found Han, Leia and Obi yesterday. These things ROCK), silver figures, holiday figures, convention figures, animated figures, or otherwise special figures. That doesnt really accumulate to much though, which is good. Gentle Giant and Master Replicas will be my big focuses for Star Wars. Other than that, it will just be miscellaney for Star Wars. But I'm definitely not giving up entirely! :)

"Don't cry for me Kubritopia! The truth is, I never left you."

With the different prop replicas coming out, I need to start saving all the cash I can, until I get my pay problem resolved. I'm hoping to get a new job here in a couple of weeks. Wont say what, cuz I dont want to jinx myself, but it could be a lot of fun. Not giving up on all the backpay I'm owed though.

In short, things wont be too much different :) I really just wasn't blown away by Series 3 anyway. I find the Ewoks pretty upsetting lol If I had been blown away by Series 3, I probably would have stuck with them. Such is life I suppose!

On a good note, the Gizmo and Stripe mogwai I ordered last month showed up yesterday! :) Very cool!

So they should  ;), they were dying to get out of their packets and breath freedom.
Poor little fellas you had em locked up for a 7 day trip round the world.
As for the Clerks stuff them and stikfas are my "other" habit other than starwars stuff, trying to keep the different lines to a minimum  as clerks are only upto series 3 with 4 on the way and stikfas only have 20 or so kits available not counting exclusives.

Simon,

Where exactly are Kubricks sold in Japan?  Are they at Toy Stores exclusively or are they sold more widespread than that.  I picture a display by the cash register where you can pick a few boxes up for a few Yen and hope to get a Variant Boba Fett :P

To be honest I was always curious as well. I wouldn't mind hearing this.

They are sold in "Hobby Shops" rater than places like TRU. Actually I was really surprised that the Box Set is a TRU exclusive, becase they have never sold Kubricks there before.  What I mean by "Hobby Shops" are places that you would expect to find models and RC Cars. As they are designed for the adult collectible market, they are rarely found in Kids toy stores. Most of the good stuff ends up on Yahoo! Japan pretty quickly though.

Hey fellas:

Almost settled in from my relocation to AZ, so I'll be posting a bit more.

Brent, I am kinda kicking myself that I did not buy that piece from BBTS, oh well.  I finally won an auction for an Early Bird Set today!  $102.50 + $8.00 s/h from Japan, not too bad me thinks.

Are you guys going to go in on a Master Case of the next series together, if so I would like to get in.
