I'm surprised that the VC Jawa's are not up there in price right now...I see sets of 8 (minus Jawa) sell for $180, while an auction for a set of 9 is sitting there for $220.  Not sure if its because the market is still shaking out the rarity of them or what, I would guess if they are 1:96 each that they would both eventually settle in the $50-$60 range each, but if its 1:48 and 1:192, then the Jawa is still going very cheaply

I bet the Vinyl Cape jawas are going to be really hot.  Everyone likes jawas and will appreciate the nod to the vintage line.

The logray on the other will not be as popular.  He is an ewok after all and not as popular as a jawa I would think.  I expect him to be about $50-75 if he is 1/96.

I think the vinyl jawa has the potential to be a lot more lucrative.

Yeah I agree with that. I don't think everyone has clicked on to the idea that this is a Vinyl Cape Jawa.  They are going for $60-70 now but give it a month or 2.....

Yep, he keeps showing up as a chase figure which he is but no mention thus far as a Vinyl Jawa. A few sellers are mentioning he's 1/96 then again, 1/48. I don't think anyone knows for sure yet.

On a good note, my parcel is on the plane right now.

There's still much confusion whether the chase Jawa is 1:48 or 1:96  - Does HLJ ever release what the actual ratios are?  It looks like we need some sort of official source.

1:48 BIN = $90

1:96 BIN = $79

Do you buy now while they're "cheap"?

No one knows what the ratio is until there released to the public. All the reports we get are from what we see from eBay, other sites & people that have opened these boxes.

HLJ is a distributor & they don't open any boxes. I have not seen Medicom release any info on ratio's & I don't think they ever will.

Question. Wouldn't the 2 Fett variants from Series 1 actually be 1:96, if we assume that there were equal shipments to both Japan and Hong Kong?

I think that would be correct.  However I think the demand for the Japanese version of the chase Fett is higher so it inflates the price of that particular one.  Maybe the increased demand is due to the nod to the vintage figure.

Actually I think it's just because of Yahoo Japan. Most of the Yellow variants just don't make it anywhere near eBay. So the red variant goes for a premium on Yahoo.

For those who ordered series 3 through HLJ & got there shipments out were lucky, as I expected from the past ordering through them, they sell out quickly & I mean quickly. If they get anymore in, that will be just plain luck, they never do.

Item is out of stock and the manufacturer has discontinued it. We don't expect to get any additional stock for the forseeable future.

As we get closer to our shipments arriving, the people that ordered a box or more, best of luck in acquiring the figures/chases we all seek.  :)
