Can someone remind me how much this boxset was going to cost please...?  I think it was $35ish, but I may be completely wrong.

I'm seriously contemplating getting two of them, one to open, one to keep boxed - as is my plan with all of this line, where packaging "constraints" (and my OCD) deem that approach to be necessary.

I am collecting all the loose Kubricks, no variants.  So I have no plans to get any of the carded ones, or to seek out any of the variants.

That being the case, right now I am only really missing the Early Bird figures, and the speeder bike set.  I was waiting patiently for the EB figs to drop, but it seems like it won't ever happen...so someday I am just going to have to plunk down the $$$ to get it eventually.  And I actually haven't been following prices on the speeder bike set, although it is an eventual goal of mine too.

Funny, but I've been reading this thread throughout, and I was wondering the exact same thing when Simon said that!  So that ain't just a "newbie" question you've got there Andy.   

There's obviously no Star Wars Kubrick "12-pack".  So he's either referring to our boxset sign up list (maybe there were 12 guys on it), or he meant to type 12-back (which still makes no sense), or he ordered a case of 12 of the new boxsets, or... our Aussie mate has just had one too many Sapparos this evening!

I dunno...

BTW, welcome to JD Andy!  Glad to have you stop on in for a visit.  Hope you enjoy yourself.  Lookin' forward to chattin' with you about all things Kubrick, or otherwise.
