I'm really hoping Vader or Yoda is not part of Series in chase form...

Still puzzled by the Box Set...makes no sense at all

Still some pretty heavy hitters from the OT that need Kubricks including most of the Luke and Leia variants and a couple of Han ones.  The cool thing is that they are not afraid to throw in some background characters too

That was another disappointing thing actually Adam. The Ewoks are the same height as the other figures. The scaled the droids, but not the Ewoks for some reason.

What about the Jawa, Simon?  Do you recall if it was scaled down at all, or if it's the standard heighth as well, as I expect/fear?

Regarding the box set - were those particular figures actually IN a box at the show?  Was it something similar to the recent boxed Endor set?

I agree (with Scott's comment) that it's cool that Medicom's willing to make some of the less notable background characters, but I'm a little nervous that Medicom's toying with the Hasbro rehash strategy a bit now, with that Imperial astromech, and possibly that second Ewok.  Those sound more like they should be the Chase figures, and not the standard releases.  If that was the case, it would make more sense, and be pretty cool...

Anyone remember how long it took Medicom (or anyone else) to release images of the new stuff after they were announced in the past?  Seemed to be several months, from what I can remember.  Sound about right?

Read a post over at ningyoushi saying how there were 8 people walking around watching if you took pictures or not...someone got some pics of the Be@rbricks though

Holy crap!  Is that a dealer table, or just the table where they were giving those Sandtroopers away?  What the hell?!  Simon, why didn't you swipe all those things for us, eh?   :P

You can obviously catch a glimpse of that new Boba Fett of theirs too...  Damn, I wanna see some more pix!   :-X

Ah.  No wonder you knew who he was, princess.  Bunnies and teddy bears...  Right up your alley!   :-*

I'm sure those go quite nicely next to your Barbies...   ::)

I already have all of those Dale, right next to my Be@rbricks and Barbies

I guess I should point out though (in all seriousness) that one of the deals with Kubricks and Be@rbricks is they are supposed to follow a mold and the grand scheme is that all figures should be similar and its up to the sculptor or artist to change them and be creative.  That's why the Ewoks and Jawa would be taller.  Not sure how they get around such things as Droids such as R2 though

Just thought of the Cow thing they do in Chicago and something similar they have been doing here in Saint Paul where they take Charlie Brown/Snoopy/Linus etc statues and let artists make them be whatever they want to be

I'm actually a bit dissappointed with this line-up.  I got into kubricks late (just after series 2 came out - thanks DSJ), and had figured I would buy cases from here on in.  I'm really not that crazy about this lineup though.  3p0 is great to see, and Lando is cool (only if it's the blue ESB outfit).  The others, I'm not too sure.  A jawa is cool, and I actually like the ewoks.  But if the ewoks are the same size as the other figures that's pretty lame.
I guess I'll have to reserve judgement till I see pictures, but for now it's  really a bit dissappointing.

After a little further digging I find out Frank Kozik lives in Saint Paul!!!   I'm trying to send him an email to see if he will sell me an extra Sandy, I could even go pick it up.
