Call me overly optimistic, but I think these are going to show up again, but without the same backs, in a public retail form. Well, Im really hoping for that anyway :)

Well, I actually saw something similar to these Star Wars carded Kubricks at Target... they were Star Trek figures.  It looked to be the same (or almost the same) packaging style as the Star Wars carded figures.  You might get your wish!

Im hoping! :) I could really give a crap if it came from the convention or not. I didnt go to it, so I dont feel the desire to have a piece of convention merchandise. BUT, I definately would love to have a carded one just like it! :) They could even put the rest of the sets on the backs of the cards. One picture per figure in Series 1, and a photo of the Early Bird set

Hey, is this a legitimate Kubrick/Medicom figure, or is it something cheap & crappy?  I've never seen a Darth Maul figure done like this before.

it's a bootleg.  there is also a boba fett and some sets of new hope, esb, and rotj characters (in tins), plus a han in carbonite floating around. I bought the fett one a year or so ago and it is cool just not as cool as the official medicom one (the arms of bootleg one always fall off).

biker scout

han in carbonite

batman

fett

anh

rotj

full set

sorry for all the links...too..much...free...time

That last link you put there was a pretty good deal I think, especially when you get all those different figures.  Not bad I guess.

Im wondering, does Medicom make any sort of generic figure stand to put your Kubrick figs on?

I haven't seen any and I've tried about every different style stand I have to make them stand. but as it is now, bump desk, all fall over, spend 5 minutes standing them back up and putting weapons in their hands, repeat.

I think I saw on the Medicom site that they were going to sell figure cases

I saw a couple of the Kubrick cases on eBay, they are pretty nice (just search for Kubrick Display), but it still seems like youd have the same problem of them constantly taking a dive.

I wonder, are the larger pegs from the Ultarama displays small enough to fit these?

I think this is what Matt was talking about. I found the top picture on the Medicom site & the bottom picture on the SCS site Scott mentioned. I ahve no idea where they hid the cases on the site. I do remember seeing them on there.

The one you are talking about on eBay, looks like the one I found doing a search for cases on google. The eBay case has 4 stairs & the one I found has 3 stairs.

4 Stairs.

3 Stairs.

XL-Shop Dotcom

I'm still looking as they woud be great displayed in cases.

Yep, those are indeed the cases I was talking about Dale.  Nice find.  How much are they, and how much are those larger ones you found?  So is anyone going to go for some of these cases?  Any other good options out there?  Gonna have to start looking into this soon, as the collection continues to grow...

And hell yeah it looks like that Alien Queen is wearing high heels!  That's too freaking funny Dale!   ;D

Not sure on what the cost of the single cases are. The site is all in Japanese.
As for the larger ones, the case on eBay "3 stairs" opens at $10.99 with a Bin of $14.99.
The case with the "4 stairs" look like they retail at $7.90 but they are sold out according to the site.

If you need some help translating the Medicom website, use this link to help you. It doesnt provide perfect translations, and some of its quite funny, but youll get the idea.
