Well, BB might, but I have absolutely zero intent of getting a carded Fett.  Something at that price would likely end my marriage and toys ain't worth that.  I would like the series 1 Fett variants, that's true, but no rush.  And a carded Luke?  Yeah, but my guy in Japan is holding one for me, I just need to actually be able to find some damn trilogo cards to trade to him to get it.  He won't sell it.

I probably would have been overly tempted to buy that Luke that Scott got too, especially since I'm freed up from paypal with respect to R2 for a couple of weeks.  Good one Scott, I'm glad it got a good home.

Holy crap Dale!!   :o  Are you freaking crazy?!?  (I already knew that Adam was...  ;))

Damn dude.  $430?!  Wow.  You realize you just missed a cheaper one last week,  right here?  What made you suddenly decide to go for it?  Peer pressure?   8)  Or just because this one was a "BIN"?  Eegads...  Don't know what to say, but I guess congratulations are certainly in order!   8)

Well done big guy.  So I think you and Adam are co-presidents, since it doesn't look like your R2 is gonna happen now...   :-\  Still no way in hell I could ever drop that kinda coin on a Star Wars goodie, without my wife divorcing me (like Brent).  Oh well!  You guys LMK if you need a little extra cash in a few years when you decide to sell your cherished possessions.  I'd be willing to shell out about $150 for the Fett to either of you...   :-*

I don't think anyone's answered my other question on the R2 though.  When are the other 1,504 supposed to be available to folks in Japan?

Remind me, when do the other 1,504 of these go on sale to the Japanese public?

May. And don't forget the Australians living in Japan. ;D

Time for you to get glasses Matt!   :P

It was the Bin that got me. Not a bad deal IMHO & its in the US so away I went.  8)

The other auction you mentioned takes only Paypal & thats a no go for me.

You think I'm going to tell the young lady!   :-X

BTW, if anyone else is looking for a carded Luke I know where you can obtain one for around $53.00 plus $10-12 EMS shipping.  I will post the link to the place once mine arrives, so that I can let everybody know what condition it was in.

Welcome to the club Dale :)

I definitely recommend picking up one of THX1138's cases. Top notch stuff.

Still need to get myself an R2. Oh well, I can wait :)

Thanks Adam.

Too bad the others here can't join the club.  :(  I'll get cases for them in time, not a rush right now.

Since that carded Boba is out of my way, bring on Series 3 & that R2!  :-\

Ohhhhhhhhmmmmm.

Fear not, the R2's will come.  A seller can't really risk 5 negative feedbacks can he?  Not all from one day's sales.  He will come through, we may just have to wait a while.  That's all.

I got the one in the link shown above.      I'm really amazed nobody even placed a bid on it other than me?!?!       I'm glad, though... Simon is always a great guy to deal with!      :)

I think it was already answered, but the other 1,504 MOC Kubrick R2-D2's are due out in May as a lottery for the Medicom Fan Club members in Japan.

Details to follow when issue resolves.  It's more complicated than just what I indicated.  I promise to tell you as soon as I can, but even if he's not a member here, I'm not going to disparage anyone unless it's absolutely necessary.  I'll go so far to say that potential for disappointment exists at the moment :-\  But again, nothing is consistent.

I know that 5 MOC Kubrick R2-D2's on e-Bay had a "BIN" price of $96.88.

I figure that a few members here got the "BIN" on those.

Is that seller not going to follow through on sending those out for such a "cheap" price compared to all the others that have sold after that for $150.00++?

I hope that's not the case!    >:(

Almost sounds like the guy saw that he listed them too "cheap" after the fact?

I think $96.88 is a more realistic price point on the R2's!         Actually, I have a feeling there's actually LESS MOC Luke's than total R2's after all 2004 will be availible!       That's just a guess, though.
