I've just noticed on ebay the Toys-R-Us Exclusive Boxset 2 for $30 item number 380156509907. The low price has got thinking it's a dodgy deal but as I'm new to Kubricks I don't really know. Do you guys think this is a fair price for that boxset, I'm desperate to buy it so your thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.

It's a common set, nothing to worry about & the seller is well known. That's about average for the set.
Excellent, thanks for letting me know. K-3PO looks class. Can't wait too get my hands on this.

It's a good deal taking into account this auction for the same set ended at $53.

Correctemundo - minimate, not a Kube.  Still, that's a pretty choice looking figure.  I didn't even know they had LOTR mini figs.
Climbed a mountain & never came back. I will not quit & I always fight back
From this moment for all my life. What could I say? Was born to be this way. And what could I say?  Just livin' for today

Yeah I've seen a gollum that made me sick for a week. I really hate minimates.

I've got the whole LOTR Mini-Mate line.  They are taller (about an inch) thank the Kubricks.  The Sauron figure is freakin' huge.  Having said that, they are all very well done.  The never got around to making all the characters so its too bad.

BTW, I paid about $10-15 for my Sauron so that particular auction is a rip-off.

I also have all or most of the LOTR Minimates. They're not bad, but not as good as Kubricks. Then again, they are much cheaper overall.

Put this one under "scams"

So I hit my "kubrick star" search on the bay today, and come up with over 700 entries (typically it is about 200-250), so I spend some time checking out the list. Corndogcollectibles has incredible deals like Veers for $479, Emperor for $110, and many similar bargains  ::)

Aye Carumba. I can't imagine anyone here looking at any of these deals seriously (lando skiff for the price of the series), but always comparison shop, no matter what.

Just a heads up, seller siupo23 on eBay likes to use pics that do not belong to him without permission. Infact, the dumbass posts 1 pic with the watermark showing.  ::)

Medicom Star Wars Luke Skywalker 100% Kubrick card

Blonde Luke Skywalker

Medicom Star Wars Han Solo Special 100% Kubrick card

Han Solo in Carbonite

I see that seller changed the pic of the Luke Kuby after I e-mailed him, now to see if he changes the Han Carb pic. No doubt he's lifting them from somewhere else.  ::)

I emailed him and he told me he lists them that high bc he knows no one will buy them. This allows him to keep them. His wife said he has to sell them. LOL. So he spends 10.00-20.00 on fees every other week just to keep them. That is so lame.
