There have been 3 chases in the last 3 series, so here is my guess:

Snaggletooth - Blue Snagletooth chase
Slave Leia - Oola chase
Jedi Luke - Bib Fortuna chase

What do you think?

It really makes me upset when they do a totally different figure for the chase. I am not going to pay 80 bucks for Logray or even more for Indiana. If they just do variation of the figure us people that don't spend our small fortunes on toys can still at least get the normal figs. I'd love to have the Han and Luke Stormtrooper chases, but again not paying $50 for them. I am totally happy with a Jawa, I dont have to own a Vinyl one. That is why I hope they do a blue snag or a blue lightsaber luke. If they make Leia in Boushh a chase I swear I will sell my kubs (yeah right, I love the little guys!). Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining, just pointing out a fact.

Yoda with snake and/or Luke with blue saber don't seem different enough for chase.

i'd go with:
Blue Snag
Leia Boushh
SPIRIT OF YODA!!!!

Spirit Yoda would be very cool. I would like a Sebastian Shaw Anakin Spirit as well then.

I actually would prefer to avoid a Spirit Yoda. The holographic/spirit style figure is kind of a letdown because the detailing in the regular figures is lost in the single color figure. Just my 2 cents.

OK, if it was 3 chases, I would add the Yoda with Brown Snake. I guess I am just vintage at heart.

So my preferred would be:

Blue Snag
Luke with Blue Saber
Yoda with Brown Snake

Does anyone know what these little guys retail for in Japan for?? Just curious. As simple little toys, I would think they would only be a few bucks. I know we end up paying a whole lot for them.

I paid about 800 and something yen each for my figures in japan. ebayers may get the sets a little cheaper because you are 100% guarenteed no chases

I'd like to definitley see Boushh and a Blue Snag; however I wonder if a Blue Snag is a distinct poosibilty or not. Seeing as the chase or variant normally replaces one of the 4 out of 12 characters, will they really produce a ton of Red Snags to accomodate this. I can see army building with sandtroopers, ewoks, and jawas, but Red Snags? My money is on an orange/brown snake variant Yoda for sure.

I prefer new figures as well, over repaints. I like the VCJ a ton though and hate the Logray. I would have eventually broken down my loathing of furry creatures and picked one up, but with so many scam pieces floating about, I'll just pass on Logray forever.

As for the chase pieces for series 5:
Blue snag - what sort of uproar would there be if there isn't one?

I know and the thought is giving me fits. They have to do the blue Snag as an homage to the vintage line that they seem to understand so well. But couldn't they just slip the blue Snag chase into a box of the more common figures? Say Yoda's box or whatever is packed 3/4 per box?

There is always the scary possibility that the snag could be boxed at 1:12 and still be a variant. Kinda like a super chase figure. I can see it on Ebay now.....Blue Snag Chase $250

As mentioned the Blue Snaggy would be just the perfect nod to the vinty line, same with Luke with a blue saber.

Leia Boushh and Yoda with orange/brown snake would top it off.

Then again, they may give us something to that Jabba's box set we keep dreaming about ala Oola.
