Just a heads up if anyone is interested, ebay seller rupinthe3 has the Boba Fett Bounty Hunter 400% for a bin of $289.00 with a shipping of $6. for the US and $8. for Canada.

He also has the Max Rebo Band Set for a bin of $100. with the same shipping costs plus a Carded Holo Leia for a bin of $55. and to top it off the TRU Exclusive for a bin of $54.

My waiting ended just over a week ago so have at it boys.  :-*

This might be a stupid question but here goes why are these things so expensive?.  I would like to get some but man alittle over budget so how can I get some on the cheap and do they come on cards or just loose on box.

So many questions, my Padawan!   ;)

There's a lot of Kubrickaholics at JD, so this is one of the best sites to get all the info you need.  In fact, check out the various features that have been done, from the Early Bird Set all the way through Series 3.

(I only hope that someday I can be as cool as those hosers.   ;))

In short because they are Asian exclusives and North Americans and Europeans pay a premium for them.  Its no different than Hasbro product being more in Australia or Europe.

The other factor is that the demand I think a bit outweighs demand, especially for Star Wars Kubricks

Dammit.  I would've nabbed this VC Jawa for $45 shipped had I seen it.  Looks like I'm definitely not gonna be caught up before the next series comes out.  Lazy bastard, I've been...  :-\

I was going to say that supply outweighs supply, but I'm not that kind of smart ass.

Thanks for covering that for me, Matt.   :P

EB Set, at $99 right now

Adam

Only one bidder. I haven't followed the EB sets in awhile but they seem to be dropping. This one went for a good price:

Its interesting to watch both the Japanese and International markets. While the EB Sets and Carded Fett contines to drop on eBay, quite the reverse on Yahoo Japan. The EB Sets are goung for over $160 wile the Carded Fett is going for over $400 on occassions.

Very surprised at the turn around between countries.

The carded Boba has gone for cheap here Flame-Thrower Boba Fett wCard and so has the carded Sandtrooper Kubrick Sandtrooper Black Shoulder.

This EB set went for a tad more: Early Bird 4pc Kubrick Set which ended a few hours of the last EB auction that went fo $99.
