Plus that's the start date of the next Parco exhibition so it's VERY likely something will be shown then...

That new Aliens set is INSANE!!!

Wow, that'd be a first.  I've never seen any Star Wars Kubrick representation down at Comic Con before.

Perhaps that's why they've been holding back on the news of this wave for so long...

I guess it doesn't make any sense for them to time it with a U.S. event of any sort, although the anniversary doesn't have geographical boundaries. If Parco is coming around the next update (6/23) maybe that is more logical.

I just don't think this line is complete until I have Luke and Leia Hoth, (and Hammerhead, and Amanaman, and squidface, and Bib, and a dignitary chase, and loads of inexpensive snowtroopers, and about 20 other things)

SDCC would be pointless as they aren't allowed to straight up sell the Kubs here in the US, though I wish they would/could...

Hmm, perhaps I should have clarified even more...

when I said SDCC 'time frame'. I didn't mean at the show-because as the obvious was pointed out, they don't sell here in the US.

I just thought they would coincide the announcement or reveal during a time of high SW internet activity, and, since we don't have any info now on wave 8- it's harder to argue other's thoughts now.

What's happened in the past is obviously thrown out the window this year for gauging a possible wave announcement :P

At this point i'm not ruling anything out. Heres what SDCC has to say about the 30th anni
" 30th Anniversary of Star Wars
It's a pop culture phenomenon, a whirlwind of space ships, archetypes and a galaxy far, far away. Star Wars turns 30 this year, and shows no signs of slowing down. Lucasfilm first introduced Star Wars to a Comic-Con audience in 1976. Thirty-one years later, the saga continues."

If they could, this would be the perfect time, No?

The week of the 30th Anniversary would have been the perfect week, SDCC is a distant second.  ;)
