If you offer enough, you can have Michael's case too...  we'll just tell him his case got "lost".  :-X

Yay!!!  I'm really happy about these chases.  Jar Jar looks great.  I love 'em all.  Can't wait to get 'em.

That's just cruel man...  Don't mess around about a man's Kubricks like that... :'(

Kill is such a strong word, but I think accurate in this instance. ;)  I knew you were an addict, but I didn't think you'd ever consider taking bricks from the guy who got you hooked in the first place! ;D

The 1st. chase figure has hit the bay... Jar Jar, opening at $89.95 or a bin of $159.95.

$159.95!!! :o :o :o

So isn't Jar Jar considered the 'common' chase? I realize that the ratio is 1:48 this time, but isn't that price a bit ridiculous?

Yes, it is ridiculous. And early auctions of recent releases are always a rollercoaster ride for a bit. Since the 2007 boxed set, it may have people jumping early afraid of shortages later. But as we have seen on these boards, everyone's orders are being filled so we have no reason to think this is a smaller run than previous series. Patience should prove prudent, as usual.

With that said, I will go hide all my beer until I have completed my sets in a sober state. Nothing poisons patience like sam adams.  ;)

That is just silly.
Jar Jar shopuld not fetch more than $20.
Of course I want it to be lower since I won't get a shot at him being its my turn for the 1:96, the two other people get the 2:48.
I might be able to get one out of my buddy who ordered his own MC though.

Hey Doc, according to the ratios that Jeff posted yesterday, Jar Jar is only a 1:48.  There is no 2:48 this time around...  Hopefully that doesn't lead to a problem with you and the other guys you are splitting that MC with...

Ha!
Not sure how we will split it now, we may have to change up how we doll out the chases or wheel and deal so I can get a Jar Jar!
I would put him in the $50 range now as far as worth.

Yeah at a 1:48 ratio, $50-60 is about the right price range for where Jar Jar should end up after the dust settles.

$90-$160 like the eBay auction is waaaay too much for a 1:48 chase.  ::)

I agree, the 2 prices on Jar Jar's is way out to lunch.

This one auction will be interesting to watch, no reserve & a full complete set of 9.
