It will be interesting to see the card artwork- but I think this is one I can safely pass on. As always, to be reconsidered if the price is right. Too many retreads on the cards.

Very cool, though I still don't have any of these carded Vader kubricks, so we'll see how the aftermarket treats this one.

Am I missing something here?  What do you mean by larger?  This isn't a 400% Kubrick right?  Its just a 100% Kubrick carded?  I looked at the pictures and they look pretty much the same to me (minus the shadows inside the helmet on the JD one).

Considering that the only time Luke's face appears under the mask is when the helmet has been removed from Vader's body, I'm going to be really interested to see what the card artwork looks like :D.  I've said in the past that I'm getting sick of Medicom re-releasing Series releases and chase figures as carded/boxed figures, but I still see myself getting this one.  Eventually I'm going to have to stop that practice...

Just saw this link posted over at Minimate Multiverse (unfortunately, it's already sold out:

Carded Darth Dagobah

My question is, how can they offer an item limited to 1000 pieces and 1 per household as a preorder? Possibly Medicom alloted them a few, but I'm sure I've read here of instances where limited items were offered by online retailers, and it always wound up that they couldn't get them in the end. Weird...

I saw the link on the MMMV & pounced immediately on the BBTS offer & although I'm sceptical whether I'll actually get them it cant hurt trying  :)

If anybody is interested BBTS are also offering the Spinner as well which isn't a bad deal for what is a quite beautiful bit of kit . http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/search.aspx?search=blade+runner

I'm really glad I didn't get this now. That layout is just lame.

I agree, would have been much better if he was wearing the other helmet.

Saw this for $58 shipped on the bay so I chomped down on the bit. The seller (sgnmjet) has a bunch more available- his feedback isn't "sterling" but not too bad. Still not sure how sellers get their hands on 10+ of these (given the 1 per household rule) just to sell them for barely higher than the retail price, but oh well--another Kubrick mystery. I didn't have the original yet so I'm happy with this.

I ended up getting mine this past weekend.  Although I'm not happy with the card art, it's still another unique carded Kubrick SW figure that I have in my collection.  Glad to have it and also glad it didn't cost me an arm and a leg to get it.

Now I can't wait to see the Carded Series 4 figures that are sure to be the 'big' carded release this year.
