I'm going to trade the 2-1B and B-wing Pilot if anyone is interested.
I'm after a Yoda or just LMK what you got.

So who has the set already?
Anyone else now worried that BBTS won't come through?

I'm definately concerned, especially since we waited until late in the game to order, waiting to see if Series 8 showed a snowtrooper or not. I have not heard of anyone's card getting charged from BBTS yet-

Well they don't charge until they are ready to ship so I am not worried about that part, but i am just worried in general.

It still seems a bit strange to me.
If Medicom was going to make them available to some retailers, why not a wholesaler like Robby in Japan?
I didn't think they sold directly to retail anyhow.

I guess I'm just generally in the dark about the entire Medicom system.

Guess what the Post Office had for me today...  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

First impressions -

Luke/Yoda - Fantastic!  Yoda is not removable at all (molded to the pack), but does have articulated head/arms.  What a great idea and perfect for a box set like this.  I was worried he'd be back-heavy, but I've had no problems getting him to stand.  :)

Droids C3PO - er, yeah.  I actually dislike this figure because it increases my desire to track down a loose Droids R2 and Droids Fett.   ::)

Snowtrooper - Another winner!  Great detail in his armor and back-pack.  Many army builders will be sore he's in the box set because he's definitely worth hoarding.  :)

B-Wing Pilot - could have easily tried to re-use Bossk parts, but he's all new.  Removable helmet means many customs pilots can be made.  :)

2-1B - originally the figure I was looking least forward to, but he turned out really, really good.  A bit wobbly thanks to his legs, but amazing detail in his head and torso.  He has a bit or wethering/wear to him that really makes him look like an abused medic droid.  :)

Suck it up.  It's not like you spend tons anyway, so go have a couple of beers and get on ebay.  The wife will never know.

And now that the box sets are reaching North America, we can wait a short two weeks for the announcement of series 8, including a slightly different painted snowtrooper in a 4/12 ratio.

Boy I hope you are right about the snowtrooper. Having all but given up the Hasbro line, hoarding kubrick armybuilders is my new favorite hobby.

I traded Doc for his B wing pilot, so I have one to start modifying right away. Although I may have to wait for BBTS to confirm shipping my sets before disfiguring it.

Regarding the beer and ebay... You've probably heard about the idea of having to blow in to a breathalyzer before you can drive- well, apply it to computers and maybe you've got a product worth licensing to SW fan wives everywhere.

Very nice Jeff, congrats.  :)

A nice look at 2-1B's feet. Sure does look like the feet of the Drones from Silent Running.  :D

Where did that come from?
