I used to think more highly of McNabb as well(as a person) but this public griping about the Eagles draft is pathetic-honestly, I wouldn't expect it from him-but then, there it is. I guess what made me the most sick was his BS comment 'I was as surpised as everyone else' about the team drafting a QB. BS, I'm not everyone else and considering Garcia's departure and McNabb's injury status lately- I think it was logical for the team to do that. Honestly, when I look back at many of the greatest all-time QB's, they never made statements like that to the media- they just went out and secured their job as usual for the next season. I guess, though, that this is a spoiled-generation-expecting-things era -and when they don't get it, they cry
Unless, of course he's going for the angle that he's invinceable, that there is no way he'll get injured again this year- that despite what happened last year, we should all forget about that and the team should not dare threaten his job security by drafting other QB's. Surely he looked back to the injuries last year to understand his team's position before making the shallow statements to the media??
I mean the team gave up JG, what's Donovan so worried about? Unless of course he really is
that insecure and I never noticed it before...hmmm.
