Is it? I wonder how that will turn out really.
Noticed a pool of folks thinkclaim it will be great for him at NE while others say he'll stink it up-and there will be marriage problems. Without being able to see the future, I'll just have to wait and see for myself.

Personally I would like him to suck there.

DS

The Pats have absolutely nothing to lose.  It only cost them a 4th round pick (who they got from the 49ers) and at most it's going to cost them $5 million ($3 million plus a possible $2 million more in incentives). If he ***** up, then he's gone, the Pats eat his small 1 year contract and move on with the receiving corp they signed before Moss came aboard.
Common sense isn't so common

Which is what I hope for --my dislike and wishes for disfortune are mainly for him and not aimed towards the Pats

I bet you'd like him if he were a 49er though.

I'm tired of Moss and the Pats, so here's hoping he's got no more gas in the tank and they stink this year.  Here's what I want to know going into next season:

1.) How do the Packers expect to run the ball with noah Herron and a rook?
2.) When is Dallas going to start really utilizing M. Barber III?  Didn't he have like 14 TD's as a back-up/goal line specialist?
3.) Is Oakland actually going to be worse than last year?  The only guy I can remember that's still on the team is Aaron Brooks and that's not a good sign.
4.) Is McNabb going to be the same guy that started out the first half of last year or is he done?
5.) Who do you think will be the best rusher in 2007 (Yards + TDs)? I'm not a niners fan, but my money's on Frank Gore.

They won't.  They suck.

2.) When is Dallas going to start really utilizing M. Barber III?  Didn't he have like 14 TD's as a back-up/goal line specialist?

As soon as Julius Jones gets hurt.  But I think Barber is going to get more carries than the 135 he had last year.  If I remember correctly he carried a lot more in the last few games.

3.) Is Oakland actually going to be worse than last year?

Not possible.

4.) Is McNabb going to be the same guy that started out the first half of last year or is he done?

He'll be back f'shizzle.

LaDainian Tomlinson.

You are as shallow as I expected. I loathed TO as a niner too-does that tell you anything? I expect you're not deep enough though ::).

I used to think more highly of McNabb as well(as a person) but this public griping about the Eagles draft is pathetic-honestly, I wouldn't expect it from him-but then, there it is. I guess what made me the most sick was his BS comment 'I was as surpised as everyone else' about the team drafting a QB. BS, I'm not everyone else and considering Garcia's departure and McNabb's injury status lately- I think it was logical for the team to do that. Honestly, when I look back at many of the greatest all-time QB's, they never made statements like that to the media- they just went out and secured their job as usual for the next season. I guess, though, that this is a spoiled-generation-expecting-things era -and when they don't get it, they cry :P.

Unless, of course he's going for the angle that he's invinceable, that there is no way he'll get injured again this year- that despite what happened last year, we should all forget about that and the team should not dare threaten his job security by drafting other QB's. Surely he looked back to the injuries last year to understand his team's position before making the shallow statements to the media??

I mean the team gave up JG, what's Donovan so worried about? Unless of course he really is that insecure and I never noticed it before...hmmm.

Well hopefully they keep him out and that's one less idiot to deal with.  You owe how much money and you're still doing this crap?  I totally believe in second chances, but this guy's on his like 6th or 7th.

Steelers have a guy running an escort service with underage girls in it out in Vegas...  The NFL certainly isn't short of degenerates.

In other Steeler Nation News, Alan Faneca is wanting out, bigtime, and making a big stink about it publicly...  Which sucks, he's a nice guy but you really look like a putz doing what he is publicly.  Great player too, and a big blow to the locker room leadership of the team from what is told. :(  Like we haven't had enough troubles...  We have picked up a RB though, which we needed, and our drafting filled big holes.

I'm shocked that this thread isn't all a buzz with discussion about Mike 'the human POS' Vick's and his new federal indictment.

I saw a bit about it today.

The only offseason news that's caught my eye is the return of Hard Knocks to HBO this August.  It's the ultimate in reality television, and NFL Films does a great job in producing this show.  This season they're following the Kansas City Chiefs.  And I wonder if the show might give us some insight into whether or not the Chiefs ran RB Larry Johnson too much last season.

Vick Shmick.  Ron Mexico is a no-talent over-hyped waste of a QB.  He'd make a great runningback, end of story.

I'd rather hear some news about some of the up and coming RB's who had monster seasons last year.  What do you think of the likes of L. Maroney, F. Gore, M. Jones-Drew, and Marion Barber III?  Will they improve over last year or are they all one year wonders? My money is on MB3 to really shine in Dallas this year.

If he wasn't so incredibly fragile maybe.

Vick would be out for the year after a week or two of 20 carries.

The guy sucks, and he's soon to be a convicted criminal who could get 6 years in prison.

Vick and his brother Marcus are just flat out no damn good, they're both on the way to a rap sheet as long as their arm.
