Cool topic, i actually love to cook. Most people tell me i went into the wrong profession and should have been a chef instead of a psychologist. My girlfreidn and i usually cook togehter every sunday; its fun, we spend some nice time together, and it usually gets us some good food.  ;D

I have an easy recipie for Oven Fried chicken that Wendy and I love:

You'll need:

1/2 cup of bread crumbs
Oregano
1/2 stick of butter
1 package of skinless/boneless chicken breasts

put the bread crumbs in a measuring cup and then cover it liberally with the oregano...mis them together well, the pour out onto a plate

melt the butter, then dip the chicken into the butter then roll in the breadcrumbs/oregano

place in a non-stick pan and bake in the oven at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes.

These go great with just about any side dish.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

Tonight for dinner I'm going to try some baked Italian Chicken tenders, that Giada de Laurentiis made. I always seem to have a hard time focusing on the food when I watch that show though... :P

The said chicken fingers were scrumptious.  :)

I made these chicken fingers for dinner tonight -- they were excellent!  Though I have to say my husband gave my a strange look when he said "What's for dinner?" and I said "Just a little something I got from one of the guys at JD"  When I showed him that the recipe was Giada's, he wanted to know where the pics were.  I promptly directed him to the Hotties Thread........

An easy dip is Barb-Q sauce and sour cream. The sweeter the Barb-Q sauce the better it is.I got a good recipe for Mexican cornbread
Take 1 box of Jiffy cornbread mix, 1 bag of crumbles cheese(Monteray Jack & colby) a jar of mild,or hot banana peppers-which ever you prefer.1 can of Mexi-corn prepare the cornbread to the directions on the box.I put my wet ingidents all together.I drain the peppers, and the corn before I put it in the bowl.put the cheese with the wet ingridents mix it all together.then add to the cornbred mix dry.Bake according to directions.Slop on some sour cream and salsa! Done!

Thanks for the reminder Tracy. I may have to make these again soon. It has been awhile since I've made them. :)
