1 ) Endor Rebel Soldier SA Resculpt

Crap, I can't believe I didn't think to include this on my list, considering how excited I was to have them last year and how disappointing they ended up being (I hate those stupid arms  >:().  I have to go back and modify my list...

I'm actually around today so I guess I'll throw in my 2 cents for my fave SW flick...

1.) Super Articulated Jedi Luke (DS2 Throne Room Duel sculpt w/ proper removable vest, cape, sabers, and swappable right hands - regular, damaged, gloved - and yeah the 30AC figure doesn't count.  ;D)
2.) SA Endor Rebel Trooper (TSC was close just needs better arm articulation)
3.) Sgt. Doallyn
4.) Weequay Skiff Guard
5.) Klaatu (Vintage)
6.) Nikto (Vintage)
7.) SA Emperor's Royal Guard (the robes have to be more like the vintage figure)
8.) Wicket W. Warrick (properly scaled and sculpted)
9.) VOTC Chewbacca (re-release)
10.) Imperial Dignitary (vintage)

This was really hard to narrow down to only 10.  There are so many resculpts just begging to be done, but I'm going to focus mainly on new figures.

Rebels
SA Human B-Wing Pilot (like vintage figure)
SA Endor Rebel Soldier

Imperials
Captain Piett (new sculpt)
SA AT-ST Driver
Sim Aloo (Imperial Dignitary)

Jabba's Goons
Yarna d'al Gargan
Nikto (like vintage figure)
Skiff Weequay

Ewoks
Lumat & Romba
Warok & Wompus

- note to Scott - I added the Endor Rebel Soldier and removed Fozec.

ok.. sorry... I know I'm being picky here, but you state you are going to focus on new figures and then 9/10 are resculpts, right?  Well, technically, we've never had a Wompus, but that's listed in a 2 pack with a resculpt of Warok.

That's a fair question.  By "new" figures I was referring to ones not released in the modern lines (1995+).  So the Human B-Wing Pilot, Sim Aloo, Yarna, vintage Nikto, Skiff Weequay, Lumat, Romba, Warok and Wompus would be new in my books.  :)

If there's an unwritten rule anywhere about modern collecting, it's that making a new (for the first time in modern lines) version of a vintage figure is NOT considered a resculpt  ;D.  This list is so easy- this is the film I think needs more figures than any other OT film.

1) Y-Wing pilot SA legs
2) Human B-Wing pilot SA legs
3) Palace Klaatu
4) Yarna
5) Dresselians (3 variants same package)
6) Wicket/Paploo 2 pack
7) SA Emperor soft goods
8) Emperor's royal guard (POTF2 colors, not orange like the AOTC one)
9) Jedi Luke DS2
10) Endor trooper (POTF2 costume, but SA)
Greg Reeves

My *New* top 3 most desired figures: 1) Yerka Mig; 2) Uncle Owen; 3) Hoth Luke

Hey, as long as we're nit-picking the Canadian I'll pile on...

Imperials
Captain Piett (new sculpt)

In RotJ, wouldn't he be Admiral Piett?   :P

After only a few days of tabulation it is absolutely amazing how many different characters people have already listed...thanks to all who have voted through all of the wishlists.  Its one of my favorite things to do for the site and I'm glad people enjoy it so much :)

I think I can see one clear winner so far - and while the lists are varied, a couple of these ring through:

1) Folks want those final "vintage" replacements added to the line
2) Folks want Rebel Pilots
3) Folks want Ewoks

Jabba's palace seems to be all over the place since there is such a wide variety of choices - and a lot of them get REALLY esoteric, based on prop photos (like Cane Adiss) - that you can barely see in the film.

But that's what makes this line great!

Last years list for me....

Ok here we go.....

In no particular order:

1.  SA Lando Skiff (the recent one was good, but still can't bend his knees)
2.  SA Jedi Luke (jabba's Palace)
3.  SA Lumat
4.  SA Death Star Trooper/Naval Fleet trooper
5.  SA Romba
6.  SA Rebel Commando with 4 different neutral expression head sculpts
7.  SA Rebel Commander (Human) at Briefing
8.  SA Admiral Ackbar (with Chair)
9.  SA LukeJedi (final battle/endor with removable helmet/poncho)
10.  SA General Lando (again with the knees and ball joints)

For the record I limit the definition of SA to: Balljointed Elbows, Shoulders, Knees and head, Swivel wrists, waists and ankles.

Ok looks like we got 2 of mine...makes this years list that much easier...

1.  SA Lando Skiff (the recent one was good, but still can't bend his knees)
2.  SA Gamorrean Guard (sp?)
3.  SA Lumat
4.  SA Imperial Officer, with 4 different neutral expression head sculpts and Black/Gray-Green uniforms
5.  SA Romba
6.  SA Rebel Commando with 4 different neutral expression head sculpts
7.  SA Rebel Commander (Human) at Briefing
8.  SA Admiral Ackbar (with Chair)
9.  SA LukeJedi (final battle/endor with removable helmet/poncho)
10.  SA General Lando (again with the knees and ball joints)

1. SA DSII THRONE ROOM DUEL Luke Jedi (Lightsaber, flap varitions, binders, saber hilt)

That's it. If you want 2-10. they're the same as 1. I'm sure we'll see it soon, however Hasbro's on this 'Tatooine Jabba's Palace Luke' high, as it's the only Luke Jedi we've seen for the past 3 years now.

 >:(
All I want from you Hasbro is a SA Final Duel Luke. Is that soo much to ask for?
