That's very interesting.  That's a lot of mula to create that special effect.  $5M for Streep to portray the Oscar host?  I wonder how long the end product will actually be.  If this meets all the hype, he probably will win an Oscar.

My buddy who's really into Transformers gave me the WM Exclusive DVD set as a gift a few days ago.  I got to watch Transformers: Beginnings yesterday and thought it was pretty cool.  I saw the movie in the theater but am excited to watch it again at home.   :)

Arcee?

I seriously saw a dude driving (riding?) one of these yesterday. I couldn't figure out what the hell it was until I saw this.

Seeing as how the first movie had the Camaro and Solstice in it, they need some new cutting-edge vehicles for the next one. It just as well be Arcee.  :)

Surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet...

Michael Bay's 'Transformers' on Blu-Ray

Well, time to get that PS3, I guess.  :)

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

I don't follow the comics too much, but I have the Titanium figure of the Fallen so this is interesting news if that is indeed who/what they're referring to.  I'm guessing it's just an "Revenge of the Sith" sorta deal though.

I wonder if they're filming in Bethlehem, PA because of the Mack Truck museum there?  Because, otherwise?

They're filming there at the university and at a steel plant.

That is actually a comic book sequel to the movie.  My understanding is that is canon with the movies, but not sure if all/any of that storyline will be in the next film.
