I have to admit that early on I was a little wary about this movie, especially with all of the negative vibes from the fanbase, etc. - but from the looks of this trailer, it might not be too bad.  We'll see if the movie lives up to the trailer, but this new exclusive trailer was all sorts of cool.  Hearing that original "transforming" sound was awesome.  If it can be a good "big robots punch and smash things" fun, popcorn summer movie, I'll be satisfied.  I'm actually sort of looking forward to this movie now, after the last couple trailers/commercials.

The transforming and movement of the bots really sold me. Especially the cool rolling/fliping that Starscream does.

The Bumblebee air freshener hanging from the 80s Camaro rear view mirror is a nice touch too.

I liked the "the must be Japanese" line from Spike, funny.

I like to call him that? And when did you get so formal with my name?  ;)

Um..I was referring to Bumblebee's air freshener.  I'm pretty sure that it says BEEOTCH on the other side, at least that's what I heard a few months ago.  Steve - I would have spelt your name with a silent y if I was referring to you.  ;)

So many people so easily swayed...  just setting yourselves up for disappointment!  Did anybody doubt Bay could dig up 60 seconds worth of cool battle clips for a trailer?  That's what he's good at!  But then you sit down expecting 2 hours of this and what do you get?  You get Pearl Harbor!!  I won't be fooled again.  Unless this thing gets high 80s on Rotten Tomatoes I'm staying home.

An alternate version of the new trailer.

It's for the non-US markets, apparently. It has a few new clips, including Sam talking to Prime from his bedroom window.

I disagree... I think that while it won't be great... it will be a fast-paced action flick that will be fun... and may get your kids into Transformers... if they aren't already.
