That of course is just the city layout. I left the measurements for the terrain off. The whole diorama is now 11' wide. The terrain is 2' at the narrowest points there.

My question is where do Chewie's walls go on the dio? There are two at 18", one at 22" and one at 24". Seems like not enough wall.

That's what that 'L' shapped extension is for, or should have been for anyways. There was supposed to be 6' 10" worth of back wall, but 18", 22", and 24" obiviously don't add up to that. It's not a huge deal though, we can just use the dowel gate trick to expand that back wall easily.

If I could dig up enough blue lightening from the ep2 figures it could make a cool eletric fence.

Ryan and I have talked about the pros and cons of using stone tile for the city flooring. My thing is stone tile is expensive, heavy, hard to cut and I really don't want to return it. I've come across vinyl flooring. These come in 12"x12" squares and are peal & stick. The one I'm looking at is the Armstrong Blue/Gray Excelon Vinyl Floor Tile. They are $0.68 a piece and is more affordable to me.

I've also been thinking about a wire mesh for a prefab industrial flooring for the floor. Depending on the size of the mesh it might make it harder for the figures to stand. The cheapest of course is straight sand and some gravel. That makes it harder for the figures to stick unless you glue the figure down first.

I think that vinyl flooring would work just fine!

Home depot has a good variety of peel and stick.

I went to Lowes and bought this peel and stick 12"x12" vinyl tile. It looks more like rock but still stays with the bluish/grey look we need. Its a little more expensive but I think we will be ok. This weekend I've got to pick up 2 4'x8' particle boards and cut them up for our base.

Good color choce there Paul. I think that should work just fine. Too bad I did get there on Monady or Sunday. I could have hooked you up with my Employee discount, a whopping 10% :P.

Every little bit helps. Basically between the tile, particle board and sticker paper, we have used up our "slush fund".

Good choice on wall. Is there going to be some kind of trim?
