I'm curious how many of us GH buyers/collectors have been cutting back on these.  I don't think any of us really expected this line to go as long, and as obscure, as it has been.  I'm continuing on picking up the OT-related sets, sort of collecting them with our daughter (who really likes them).  There really is some neat stuff on the way in this line it seems though, with the recent Ackbar/etc. sets, the possible Rebo band sets, and maybe even an AT-AT next year.  Neat stuff, and nice durable toys.

I have quit this line too.  After accumulating enough loose figures to fill a paper ream box, I think it's time to quit.

I'm done with the 2packs, but may still be game for some of the Cinema Scenes and the AT-AT.

Ok, now that is too cool.  I know we had heard rumors of this at one time or another, but it looks like it is on the way eventually.  It seems like the GH line is where the OT gets the most love lately, I wouldn't mind seeing an all-new Slave I in the basic line as well at some point.  Anyways, I'm definitely in for this one - looks great.

Wow, that Slave 1 looks cool!  I'll be in for one after it comes out.

BTW, I saw the Chewbacca & Death Star Droid & Mouse Droid set at a local TRU yesterday.

Man, there are going to be a lot of new Cinema Scene sets for Christmas time -

- TRU Kamino Showdown (no ship, just figures)
- TRU Purchase of the Droids (no ship, just figures)
- Anakin's CW Jedi Starfighter
- Obi-Wan's Ep3 Jedi Starfighter
- Endor Assault (with Ewok Glider and figures)
- Slave I with Carbonite Han
- Jabba's Sali Barge (no ship, just figures)
- Yavin IV Medal Ceremony (no ship, just figures)
- RotJ Millennium Falcon

That's like $240+ in GH Cinema Scenes alone, not even counting all the 2-packs that I'm sure are coming as well.

I'm not sure I'll pick up all of them for the boys (they already have a Falcon, so that one is out for sure), but I know I'll pick up a few of the sets for them since they love the GH stuff...

I wonder if the ROTJ falcon will have re-recorded electronics?  Exclusive General Lando seems guaranteed.   :-\

Ooooh, also, is it just me, or in yet another big vintage wink - did they cast that carbonite block in a much darker gray?

You guys only buying the Cinema Scenes are making the right move.  If you end up wanting to go back and get a complete loose set in a few years, it'll probably end up only requiring like 10 more figures for $30 tops.  The only minor question is what to do about X-Wing, Falcon, and JSF re-releases.  Do you even want them taking up space in your house?

ETA. per Jeff's post below:  Wow, two extra rebels never hurt!  Also, new paint on the Falcon.  Also, hurray for the linked pics that show two more R. Fleet Troopers in the Medal set.

Yikes, that's a lot of product coming out near X'Mas.  I'm not even caught up with the cinema scenes that are currently out.  Gulp.

Yikes!!  I just caught this.  Going to have to take out a loan or something.  Did you guys ever think this line would be so big when Playskool launched?  I sure didn't.   :-\
