Thanks for posting that Scott, the more I see these prototypes, the more I wish this line would come back.  We have heard rumors of 2-packs, and I remember getting a questionnaire from Hasbro regarding that awhile back, I'd like to see them come back in some form...its a neat little line I think.

Um...

Upon closer review, is that just the Ep1 "Booster Rockets" R2-D2 figure?

Now that R2 looks interesting! Though I will add that this C-3PO is very new compared to the other 3-PO. This one has one of his arms raised!

so would that not be a 6th new figure?

I really hope that these recently sighted prototypes are a sign that this line might be coming back.  Even if we aren't able to get a lot of vehicles right off the bat, the figures would be great too.  It seems like all the prototypes seen so far have been ANH figures, but that might not mean anything in particular.  The R2 and 3PO are different than the other releases though, so it might be a good sign.  Hopefully we will hear some news on this sometime soon...thanks for the links/pics guys!

Yeah, that R2 is new.

Crazy that these protos keep turning up, but there is no mention of the line at Toy Fair.  Maybe that means the Playskool line will be exclusive to KB or something?

I'd hate to think these protos are just escaping to the market because the whole line was tossed into the trash bins.  :(

I'm really happy to hear that there is still a possibility of the Playskool line continuing.  We've kind of been thinking the 2-packs might be happening, with the survey Hasbro sent out and ebay prototypes, and I really hope this happens.  Hopefully they won't be impossible to find, or are offered online somewhere at least.  The first round of sets in 2002 were carried in odd places it seemed, and were kind of spotty.  I hope these are easier to locate.
