I threw out a coin! I found it!
« on: May 16, 2007, 08:58 PM »
Oh No!  I accidentally tossed out out my #11 Han Solo coin!  I opened him last week day, but never took out the coin.  Yesterday I wnet on a cleaning spree and tossed all the SW cards and plastic that were sitting in a TRU bag.  So, here's the question...do I buy another just to complete the set?  Or go without as a reminder not to rush?

Speedermike,

I'm gonna wind up with LOTS of extras of coins so if I can trade one of mine for the one you want I'll gladly do so for you.  I WON'T wind up with an extra Han ironically, but if I can help get you a Han one I will.

I think though that customizers will wind up with extras at some point and may offer you one for free...  Keep your eyes peeled on our trades area for that to happen.  Dunno if we have a coin trading thread yet, but it'd probably be a good idea if we don't.

I'd say try Ebay too. I may go that route to get coins for the repack figures I already own. I really want the entire coin set but don't really want to buy duplicate figures. I suppose if it comes down to it I could buy the figs for the coins and give the extra figures to my kids.

I've had a lot of luck acquiring coins from this very site. There are people out there who will give them to you for cheap and trades as well, you just need to know where to look. Good luck, I say go for another if you really like these coins!  8)

The saga legends coins I'm not terribly worried about. From what I can tell it looks like those coins are movie specific rather than character specific. As long as I have one per movie I'll be fine.

Speedermike- If you don't get a coin some other way, let me know. I was thinking of doing a Han Solo custom- Millenium Falcon mechanic. Simply head swap (that's about the extent of my abilities) and that'll give me an excuse to pick up another one.

PM me with your address, I'll send you one of the extras I have.  But this is the LAST time young man... ;)

I posted on the classified section too, but if anyone is trying to get rid of their extra coins send me a PM. I am trying to put a set together. Thanks!

Sorry to steal speedermike's thread, but I just lost the Saga Legends ROTJ coin from the Boba Fett I bought a couple hours ago. Anyone have extras? :'(
