Hot Toys 12 inch Figures
« on: May 23, 2007, 01:02 PM »
I did a little search and didn't find a specific thread for their items. Most of the items were mixed in with other things.

So basically what Hot Toys 12 Inch Figures do you have and what are you looking forward to?

Have:

Alien Warrior
Grid Alien
Predator w/ severed Alien head (sideshow version)
George Lucas

On pre-order:

Aliens Power Loader

Looking forward to / unsure if i may buy:

I think the Rocky figures are pretty cool. I wouldnt mind picking up Rocky and Drago.

I also had the Endoskeleton from T2 on preorder but decided against it becuase of the price. Just hoping Sideshow comes out with their own version. The new POTC stuff looks pretty cool but i won't be buying those.

So what about you guys?

I don't have any but currently have the Robocop 3 w/Flight Pack on pre-order. I wasn't going to get that version but it has a removeable helmet so that sealed the deal for me...

The Dark Knight figures by Hot Toys
I received the Hot Toys Newsletter, and their 12" scale The Dark Knight figures are incredible!  Hot Toys told me that they will be available in Hong Kong and Japan ONLY, but I'm sure some will make their way to the States.  Well, I hope so anyway!

If anyone finds online retailers that will be offering these, please post here!

Sideshow Collectibles has been importing a number of the Hot Toys 12" movie figures, but there is no word yet on whether or not they will carry the 5 planned Dark Knight figures...

Like I said, Hot Toys told me, and it states on their site, "Hong Kong and Japan only."  Of course in this age, that won't stop us.  :)

I have seen so far that ActionHQ has the best price.  I can actually get it cheaper and with faster shipping than from BBTS.

5 planned? Do you know who they plan on making?

Here is what Hot Toys said in their press release...

"How's the "appetizers" of TDK which we've announced this month? Besides of Batman and The Joker, we are going to surprise you with something superior and incredible in next month! You know we mean it! A little tip for our lovely fans: THREE more TDK will be coming out in June. Seriously stick around at HotToys.com.hk."

I guess it doesn't specifically say the other 3 are indeed 12" figures from TDK, but that is how I took it when I read it...  the other three could be something else I guess.

I had not heard about this but they are making a Batcycle and Batmobile for their Batman line.  :o 700.00 is a whole lot of money though!

The IRON MAN MARK III features:

Authentic and detailed fully realized IRON MAN
Stands approximate 30 cm tall
Over 36 points of articulations
Metal-like painting
Special features on the armor
