An easy pass, something that's very rare in 30 AC for me.

Its for charity, even if you are not interested, give it another thought.

I am buying one.

I'll buy one...  It's one of those things I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel about, haha, but yeah a pink astromech is different so I like it enough as a toy...  It's for charity too, that's a positive obviously as well.

I might warm up to it for a tax deduction.

I will gladly pick up two.  I love Astromechs and I love the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  :)

I guess I'll use ot for an Ep1 "handmaiden droid" or something...

If this is available on HTS or SWS I might get it.

I've found the astro figures I cannot really place in a display particularlly, I tend to move right to the Rebels.  What I may do then is see if someday I whip up a female Rebel Pilot and give her the pink droid as her cohort...  I think that'd work.

Reid, they're to be available at both outlets actually, during SD Comic-Con...

These are for a good cause so I'll definitely get at least one. I'm sure my daughter would dig one as well.

I'd buy one, I may use it as a character in a PN.

These were exactly my thoughts.  Finally a droid that my daughter won't have to ask "Is this one a boy or a girl?"....R2 D2 will finally get his masculinity back..

And I am right there with Jeff..Make a Wish is something that deserves all the help it can get.

So I'm down for 3 at least.

I'll get two if possible, a charity fig is a nice thought, and the pink droid would work well in a dio or something.

I'm getting three at least. One carded, one loose to display and one for my Pink 5 diorama....ok that last one is a stretch, but seriously I'm down for two at least and might buy more for toy donations.

It is charity afterall and I WON'T be looking for this as a tax deduction either. No offense to the person who said that, but personally for me, if I'm buying figures for the tax deduction, something is wrong with me. I'm of the belief that if you do something for chairty it's not because you get something out of it, it's what you can GIVE. (That being said we are getting something out of this in the form of a figure, so I won't look to get even more in the form of a deduction. Again I really mean no offense to that poster, I'm looking at this from my perspective for me personally, not anyone else. I just wanted to get my viewpoint out on it thought as well.
I'm just a humble collector trying to make his way through the universe...of toy aisles.

This is a truly heartbreaking story and I think it's a great gesture on Hasbro's part to donate $100,000 to Make-A-Wish and create this figure in Katie's honor.  I spoke with the Hasbro people on this and they will not be making any money off of this piece.  It's nice to see that their hearts are in the right place.

I suppose I'll try to get one but I'm not going to break my neck over it. Hopefully Hasbro doesn't cheap out on the plastic like they've been doing with recent astromechs.
