I nominate you.

I think you have to go back to reverse the curse.  It's an odd number of visits that did this.  Even it up.

No big for me to be commish, it's not much work really.  Anyone else wants to pipe up, go for it, otherwise I'll set it up on Sunday.  Same settings as last year, lest I hear otherwise.

Nah, I don't think I'll go back thanks.  Not that I don't want to, but it majorly screwed with my basketball and football too.  I think if I'd been able to switch out receivers, I might have won that first round.

I'll second the nomination.

After my team imploded last year, I don't want to be commish anymore.   >:(   :)

Go ahead and set it up Brent :)

I'm in...we also should think about limiting the # of teams to 12.  More than that and the talent pool gets stretched too thin IMO

I have it set for live draft.  We seem to have settled into that nicely right now.  The date is currently set as:

Wed Jul 18 8:30pm CDT

I'm open to changing it to whatever day.  Those of us married with kids would be fine with a weekend I'm guessing.  The schedule is pretty open right now but I expect it will fill up fairly soon.  Later dates are fine by me too, I just picked the date when my wife and daughter are away ;)

That looks pretty much identical to last year's version - IIRC I set passing TD's at 4 as well - I thought 3 wasn't enough, and 6 was way too much.

My only question is what's up with fumbles being a point?

Or is that line just worded wrong?  I don't think a fumble should be a point, but I don't think that it should be minus a point if lost fumbles are also minus a point.

That'd be a pretty big kick in the nuts if your RB fumbled and lost it.  I'd say just -1 for lost fumbles, fumbles that are recovered by the offense shouldn't be worth anything.

Overall, no complaints though.

I'm in - and so are the Golden Girls.

Rob,
I have no idea about the scoring.  I literally was given the option by Yahoo to use jedidefender 2006 scoring as an option, so I took it.  I copied and pasted that info from the first page of last year's thread, so I'll check tomorrow if they match up or not.

I wouldn't mind seeing the playoffs as weeks 14-->16 instead of 15-->17.

Week 17 is a real **** week, we should leave it off.

I know we're a long ways out, but it might be a good idea to pick a draft time and get slotted nice and early - last year I had a hard time getting a good one because I didn't realize they fill up and I waited.

I'm okay with anything other than the weekend of the 24th (August) and the evening of August 30th.

My preference would be a week day evening, not too late.  But whatev.

I'm pretty open to most dates at this point, so just argue amongst yourselves and let me know.

BTW, has anyone signed up yet?  I'm only seeing my name in the league at the moment, but that may just be my own ineptness at being commissioner.  Get used to it.

I'll sign up tonight (yahoo sports is blocked at work).

I say just pick a date, like the 29th of August, maybe at 8:30 PM and if a bunch of people have significant problems, change it.

We're far enough out that most of us should be pretty flexible.  The only reason I can't do the weekend before is because I'm moving the girlfriend up to Michigan, and I can't do the 30th because my other league is drafting.

Signed up now.

What do you guys think of regular season Weeks 1 to 13 and Playoffs 14 to 16?

I really don't want playoffs in Week 17.
