It's not a bad deal, since they'll be $95 US or so plus shipping to the Japanese destination anyway, so between $110-120 at retail in Japan anyway.  $50-60 isn't that much of a markup on them really, especially factoring in it's a chase Fett in there too.

On the other hand, I'm not sure how limited the edition size is and really how much people will be willing to pay at auction.  Might go up considerably, but it might not.

I'm just happy I open all my stuff anyway, so these are just redundancies for me.

I just picked one up.  It's a 'no-brainer' to me given the original cost and the fact that it has a chase Boba Fett.  If I don't get it now, I'll just be chasing it down at a later date anyway.

Yeah, I think this is a good deal for $30. each, $35. if you factor in the shipping plus coming in a matted display.

They are growing on me, but I wonder how others are thinking of displaying them? Do you take them off of the background and put them in Oscar cases, or build a Lexan box for them in the orignal display?

I just received my set thins morning and it is mounted on cardboard. I will be taking my out at some stage as the will look much better in one of Oscar's fine cases.

Also this is only the first wave of the Bounty Hunters. The next lot will be released in November, so don't worry if you miss out this time.

This photo I found on the net.

Thanks again for the pic Simon, looks like they are made to be released from this cardboard frame of doom. A good way to protect the cards from shipping damage I guess but to display them in that frame is not great. It covers most of the cards, I have to get cases from Oscar in time.  ;)

Our good friends over at Slave1.jp have some great pics of this carded set, check out the link below.

Bounty Hunter 6 Piece Carded Set

I'm still on the fence about taking them out of the cardboard frame & displaying them individually in Oscar cases. Hate to take them out but that's just me.  :P

Oh hell, maybe I'll just get a second set.  :-X

They look good- but I would have to take them out of the outer case as well. I'm just not sure I have room to display them anyhow-  :-\

I'll be getting this real soon.  I've already got the Series 1 set but I'd like to display the carded figs too.

Do the carded Kubricks fit in regular Star cases? I've never been close enough to one to know the size. The Oscar cases always look awesome but have to be a lot more than Star cases?

They make Kubrick sized Star Cases, Bikeride should know where to get them.
