Couple more of these that popped into my noggin this evening...
Grapes.  Big ol' juicy seedless grapes.  Especially delightful during the hot summer season...   8)

I'm not a grape fan but my wife is, and she freezes her grapes.  She says they're like candy when you eat them, and they make the same crunching sound as if you're munching on M&M's.

Being able to mow my own lawn on a saturday morning while listening to my toons on the walkman, instead of hanging out in a cramped apartment.

Not having to close the windows because the down stairs neighbor can't smoke their stinking cigarettes inside their own apartment.

Writing lyrics to some new tune my best friend comes up with.

Watching my little cousins play, and trying to follow the dialog, then seeing their confused faces when I add my own super powers to the mix.  (You know the "crazy old fart" look)

Watching my wife sleep.
Stressed out?  Poop.  It'll make you feel better.

Getting the green light from the Mrs. to indulge in some fastfood! (not the fastfood itself, but the lack of grief over eating it).

That has to be the best one I've heard yet!   ;D

Here are some of my simple pleasures...

-- Hanging out with my four kitty cats.

-- Sitting in my office and staring at my Star Wars collection.

-- Going on walks with my wife.

-- Having a chocolate malt at Oberweis Dairy.

-- Working on my personal website.

-- Driving my VW Jetta like it's a race car.

-- Posting at JediDefender.   ;D

-- Watching my favorite TV shows... I Love Lucy, COPS, AMW, Seinfeld, Sanford & Son, All in the Family, The Cosby Show, Three's Company, WWE, and others.

-- Watching a thunderstorm roll through the area and videotaping it (if possible).

Cold beer. Or Dr. Pepper.
A stack of new comics.
Finding new swag for my collection.
Riding my newly fixed Sea-Doo at idiotic speeds and loving every minute of it.
Spending time outside reading or playing with my dog.
Grilling a fat steak. Yeah.

Simple pleasures:

Camping on a warm summer day with a friend.

Getting a letter from your 7 year old sister *heart grew 10 times that day*

Sitting back with a tall lemonade

getting off of work and enjoying the walk home (I am fortunate enough to be close to my job)

getting a paycheck

blowing the paycheck on toys

opening a new toy

Listening to it rain...

Kevin

ooh, I used to love doing crosswords, the UofM college newspaper had a crossword in it, the paper was free every day, many a boring lecture was spent trying to finish it...and many a professor dirty look  :-*

True dat, Ben!   ;)

My new simple pleasure is breakfast.  Something I never usually eat, but since the Embassy Suites I'm staying at for a couple weeks has a free breakfast buffet every morning, I'm all over it!  The only challenge is getting up early enough for it...   :-\

silence.

I was up last night at about 2:30 rocking the baby to sleep, and it suddenly occurred to me that I hardly ever experience complete silence. There's always the sound of traffic, other people, the refrigerator or the dang dog. As I was rocking, all I could hear for a few minutes was the baby's breathing (which is also a simple pleasure) and the slight whoosh of the rocker. Other than those, nothing. If it hadn't have been 2:30 am, I would've been overjoyed. :-\
