Is it me or does anyone else feel that C3P0 does not need to be redone? I am pretty happy with the C3P0 Ewok deity as the definitive protocol droid. The SL AOTC is good enough for me and the EP1 still holds up well in my book, one of the very few from that era. I see this as a wasted slot I hope this is not true.

To me the Legacy Tie pilots are not very interesting, I would rather see a OT style first. Wedge is the SDCC exclusive as it sounds right now so he will not be part of the pilot pack.

My 6 wishes for Evo packs would be:(I know they won't happen but....)

Obi-Wan
SA EP1 Obi-wan
SA EP2 Obi-Wan
SA EP4 Obi-Wan (Please Smiley) The VOTC doesn't cut it.

Imperial Leaders
Grand Moff Tarkin
The Emporer
Ronin Fel

Rebel Fighters
Fleet Trooper
Hoth Rebel Trooper
Mon Calamari Officer

Rebel Pilots

SA Naboo Pilot w/ Overcoat (I)
SA Luke - Snowspeeder Pilot (V)
SA Nien Numb

Jedi warriors
Bastilla Shan
K'Kruk
Kol Skywalker

Scrubs of the Galaxy
Ackmena
ICMG Willrow Hood
Fozec or Captain Doallyn

Nah, I think 4-LOM proves they can take 3PO further. But that's me.

I kind of agree with Anthony, but I also have no desire to see a C-3PO Evolutions type set at all...

You put out a definitive C-3PO in gold, you re-release it at some point with a silver leg, and you paint him Episode 2 style, and I'd be pretty content on C-3PO's at that point.

Deity 3PO is neat though, but I'd take better (ala 4-LOM) if offered at some point...

At the same time, none of these are high on my list either.  I've got a lot more figures I'd rather see done first...  I'm just saying I wouldn't turn my nose up at these if they were done spread out over time. ;)

Good point guys on the 4-Lom articulation but there is one problem - the chrome. They would not be able to joint the chrome because it would fleck off. It would have to be painted like the gold knee joint, I'm sure they can do it but I do not think it's Evo worthy.

But, should C-3PO or 4-LOM even have articulated elbows?

I could go for a final definitive version of 3PO... and I think that somehow they should be able to make the paint look realistic to where it works fine with joints.  If not, I'd be ok with them not doing a chrome finish.

We've got a pic of the "Fett Legacy" Evolution set.  Pretty sweet Mandalore figure.  :)

All 3 of those figures look perfect.  I want multiples of this one for sure.

I saw that image in either Lee's or Tomarts.  The figures look really sweet.  But why would you watermark an image that was scanned from a print publication that's been on newstands for at least a couple of weeks?

Dressel, I just want the Boba from that set, so when I buy it you can have the other 2 if you want them.

Why didn't they just use the holsters from the Jango apartment fig?  The Evo set doesn't have the thigh straps.  But look at that ball waist artic.  :o
The only thing with the Mandalore Warrior is the arms look like little %*@! arms.  If I have a warrior I at least want him to look like he can use that hulking axe.

I just realized something about the Fett Legacy 3-pack....we're getting another figure that's related to KOTOR.  Mandalore has shown up in the Dark Horse KOTOR comic series.  And Darth Nihilus is from KOTOR II.  So I have to wonder if we've got a serious shot at some more KOTOR era figures.

I found a couple of the "new" Evo sets at my WM tonight ($19.76 each), including one Sith set, and a boatload of the Clone to Stormie sets.  Not sure if there were any others prior to my arrival, but at least they're finally trickling out there now.  Would someone refresh my memory if there's any changes to the figures in either of the aforementioned sets, or are they straight rehashes from the last go 'round?  Hopefully the latter, so I only have to get one set of each...

Straight rehashes, new packaging.

That Fett set does look sweet. It's going to be very popular.
