A whole mess of new pictures from The Dark Knight can be found HERE and HERE.  Catch them while you can.

SPOILER

Batman playing "good cop, bad cop" with the Joker? Fuggin' awesome!

Batman using a rifle, ala Dark Knight Returns & his early Detective Comics appearances? Fuggin' awesome!

TDK is shaping up to be the movie of Summer '08!

I'm not so sure that this is what's going on.  Batman's general view on firearms in the comics is less than positive.  When I first saw some of these, I thought the storyline might be leading towards the Joker framing Batman.  Best pic is Bats on the batcycle - that thing looks like a sweet ride!

No Capes !!
The problem with America is stupidity I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself

There's a pretty cool scavenger hunt going on at www.whysoserious.com.  It's pretty much been determined that the Joker's message is "The only sensible way to live in the world is without rules".  We're just waiting to see what happens next.

I think The Dark Knight is my most anticipated movie next year.

Yeah, I'm curious what is going to come of that as well - maybe some sort of new pic or something.  I agree Mikey, I'm really looking forward to The Dark Knight next year as well.  Its shaping up really nicely.

Just an update on the scavenger hunt, for those who haven't seen it.  The phrase is all finished, and if you click on the photo edge under the message, you can see a new picture of the Joker, and it looks like another contest/hunt has begun.

SuperHeroHype has a look at an upcoming cover to Empire Magazine picturing Heath Ledger as the Joker.  We've seen Ledger before, but this is a new pic, for those interested.

Some promo pics of Batman and the Joker from next summer's "The Dark Knight" have popped up online.  Check them out at the link (or until they get taken down).

And, if you're not going, you can just click here for a description of the footage and what you get to see.

I can't wait for this movie... :)

**** yeah...

And a bootleg of the new trailer.  Look at it before it gets removed

Ledger has sold me as the Joker.  Everything about him - the look, the laugh, the homicidal tendencies - are fantastic.  This movie can't get here soon enough.

Wow.   :o

I always thought Jack Nicholson was a pretty good "wacky" Joker, but Heath seems to have captured the "creepy as hell" Joker perfectly.

Any word when/where this preview will hit theaters?

Wow, looks pretty cool.  Much more "adult" than the old Tim Burton take.  Ledger looks like an awesome Joker from the preview - more of a cross between the guy from Saw and the Crow.
