well goldenage never went through with charging my buddies account now and another friend of mine said something about them being out of stock on them so it looks like i wont be getting them :'(

although i able to pick up a white marine comic pack...at CDN retail :o

so subtracting the wave 8 case and adding in the comic pack my new total comes to...

hockey figures= 11.16
sacrifice book = 21.42
Wm comicpack= 16.89

total= $49.47

I am happy it is still pretty low but boy do i wish that wave 8 case was still coming :-\

EDIT*** instead of double posting ill just add my new total.
i bought an ewok two pack at a comic shop and got a graphic novel on clearance price. both together the price came up to $19.87

New total is now: $69.34

I think its safe to post this now, as i dont intend to buy anything in the next 3 days.

January Total - $1058.44  :o

That is pretty much insane considering that at the half way mark i was only at $179.98.

If it was for my 3 big purchases (Takara Chewbacca, Sideshow Palaptine set, and Hot Toys battle-damaged Predator 2)  i would only be back 511.94. Not terrible...and works much better with the half way mark.

after finnaly getting some time me and some buddy ran down to a Toronto comic shop called Silver Snail.
picked up a lando,ani,4-lom figure at $11.28 (tax already included in it) each and the omega squad EE bp. kinda mad that they didnt have the ARC pack because i know i will probably never find it at a reasonable price now :(

so my new total for January is now...

$148.40

9 more figures and ill be finished with TAC 07...of course that is if my wave 9 box comes after recently getting a reply from goldenage saying they are still waiting on hasbro.

Gentle Giant AT-TE Accessory Kit - $24
Marvel Select Emma Frost $15
Gentle Giant Royal Guard bust $22.50 ($34.45 w/shipping)
Marvel Legends Ronan BAF $35.51 shipped
Marvel Legends loose set of 8 Fantastic Four figures $28.00
Battlestar Galactica Titanium classic Galactica $6.00 (thanks Mike)
Hasbro comic pack with Keller/Marine. $16.00
McFarlane 3" Winnipeg Jets Bobby Hull $30 with shipping
Kubrick Blue Stars preorder with shipping $60

January total: $248.96

Gentle Giant stuff $58.45
Hasbro/SW Stuff $22
Kubrick Stuff $60
Marvel Stuff $78.51

I'll get back about $30 of that when I resell the FF figures I don't want.  I might also be able to offload one of my Hull's for about $20 up here to reduce the price by $50 in total.  The Kubrick was a surprise purchase, but I think it'll end up being a good deal.  Not digging that I'm paying nearly double for comic packs versus the US price.  Blech.  It does illustrate how it sucks to be a collector outside the US though.

So if that's my average per month I'm looking at $3000 this year?  I'm not digging that, it needs to come down.  Going forward I can't see myself getting that much stuff really.  I like some of the Hasbro stuff, but not all of it.  I can think of a couple of high end items I'd like to pick up this year: MR Obi-Wan weathered light saber hilt and if Sideshow does a nice 1/4 Indy statue.  Kubrick chase figs if they're OT might fit that high end (>$100) profile as well.  Never quite know what GG will do with busts either.

I started January with a bang, largely due to catching up on Galactic Heroes, basic carded figures and comic packs that I was unable to get before the end of '07.  I have to thank Matt (JediMoses) for helping me spend $297 on that one transaction.  ;)

I also grabbed another handful of Titanium ships, a Mighty Muggs Vader, and a few other McQuarrie figures.

In total I spent $485, but managed to sell off $140 worth of older stuff, so my net for January was $340.

That net crap is just wussing out.  Did you factor in how much money you lost by selling stuff later rather than just not buying it at all?  No, of course not.  Count your real totals, be a man.   ;)

February:
Ovechkin variant $14
Futurama figs (2) $30
ML Black Knight $12
Han Solo Character Key $38 with shipping
Darth Sidious Character key $75 with shipping. :-X
Gentle Giant old Obi-Wan Kenobi bust $36.12 with shipping
Gentle Giant gummi-Darth Maul bust $64.61 with shipping

The whole point of me doing this was to get me to spend less month to month. I have a feeling Feb. is going to be worse than January and there are still 6 days left.

:-[ Ok so the february total is $1127.78. So my assumptions were correct more than January. Grand total fo far $2186.22.

March has to be lower, i dont plan on any expensive buys like the Kubrick box set so I should be safe. Lets see if i can keep it under 800.00

TAC AT-AP - $19.99

Total for February=$113.10

Total for January=$9.88

February total: $269.73
January total: $248.96

2007 total thus far: $518.69

So up a bit, but not bad considering there are two Gentle Giant busts and two Acme character keys in there.  Right now I'm very ok with this kind of spending.  Still, at $3K a year, that's an easy Harley payment :-\

First purchase in March:
Gentle Giant Obi-Wan in clone armor : $64.61 shipped
GG first Vader, second Vader, ESB Yoda, CIII sandtrooper busts $255
VTSC Snowtroopers x 6 - how could I not at $3.94 each?  $26.48

I'm not counting the Sith Evo set since I returned three figures at the same time and it came out as a net zero. :)
