I'm thinking the back part comes off too. There doesn't seem to be wall at the end of the bunk so it seems to continue on. There is a latch on the right side that seems to pull down to free the back half. I don't think the gun chair flips up but is in a normal standing position in the back. Turning the chair turns the canon left and right. To me the chair doesn't seem to have enough depth to hold a figure. It seems tall enough though. I wonder what the knob on the side of the ship does? I assume the buttons make different sounds.

Ok, I can not stop looking at this pic and drooling
We have 5 sound buttons (three near the rear rap side and two towards the front left)  below the two is a turn nob (for the defelctor dish?? or is there a hidden training remote under the dish section it controls?  or both?)  further back on the upper haul is a lever (landing gear? ) also look at the side of the falcon between the turn nob and lever does that look like a flip up hatch exposing that back room?   agh I need more pics

Wow, I'll be the first to admit I didn't see that coming.

It really is amazing how Hasbro has started to show interest in these larger scaled items all of a sudden.  I think seeing the fans drool over the Attakus set has had some influence on them; I remember then stating somewhere that they were suprised at how much the fans seemed to like it (which shouldn't be any shock to them, but I digress)... I think their research in the past has been flawed - they've produced a few semi-large items in the past that didn't do well, but most of them were not quality items.  This appears that it is very high quality, and with that going for it, I suspect the Falcon will do pretty well at retail... and we probably have to also thank items like the UBP's and countless rehashed versions of vehicles selling well to thank for this... and probably fans inquiring about it over and over hasn't hurt it either.

If the Falcon and AT-TE sell well I hope they make the MTT next. ;D

It didn't look bigger to me at first, than I realized the seat in there and that quickly put it to scale! That will be a huge playset of a vehicle. I can't wait to check out one of the local guys' MF when they get one.

I thought it was pretty much the same size as the vintage version, but that chair is pretty key as to how freakin big this thing may be.  I also agree with others about the playset thing.  Looks like Hasbro killed two birds with one stone.

Good Job Hasbro  :)

GH has posted a blog and is answering questions, it seems that the chess table included lights up and there is also a training remote. Very cool!

The next round of Q and A's should be interesting.  "We don't know anything about that Falcon" "No comment" :).

I'm hoping against hope that Hasbro comes out with some sort of statement about this between today and Friday (when the next round of questions are due).

It was quite obvious that Hasbro wanted to keep the secret until later this year...I almost feel sorry for them.

An item this great deserves an official annoucement from the foks who worked on it.

Yep--I imagine there are some unhappy folks up in Pawtucket this morning.

Eh, such is the age of the internet.

True. I guarantee this leak cost somebody their job.

However, I have absolutely no complaints. I shall buy.

I think Hasbro should know by now that this is the communications age and if they want to be the ones to make official announcements, they need to get the ball rolling quicker.

Well, if this is indeed some sort of exclusive, they have to make sure that the store is for sure going to buy it/sell it.  Which is probably why they have played this so close to the vest
