Oh, that's right!  I forgot about the Saga card image.  Well, let's just be glad that the toy is accurate if the card art is not   8)

Once I found the image, I was afraid that photoshopping was involved. I'm glad he turned out to be ESB accurate as well.

Now to make the PT one. :D

for r-3po I still think the Saga 04 version is the best sculpt of any protocol droid. because he was the first protocol droid to have the pistons on the arms and hasbro never used his mold on any protocol. I am stunned.

I like that sculpt too, just give him articulated knees and you have a very nice protocol droid sculpt.

I don't know. I like the K-3PX. Too bad each of these guys come with a crappy reissue. So when are we going to see Kligson from Droid World?

Looking more closely at the pictures, I noticed again that K-3PO looks to have articulated knees. That puts him as my front runner.

Hmmm, shouldn't that be R-3PO?  K-3PO is the white protocol droid from the Echo base command center, isn't he?  I guess they labeled it improperly?  Can I keep asking questions?  :P

Though I've pretty much all but stopped PT collecting at this point I'm actually farily excited for these sets. I love astromechs and all of these seme to have some nifty paint jobs. Even the non-droid figures all look like they have an updated paint job, except for that crappy Vader. He is probably the only figure in the set I'll get rid of. The Jury is still out on C-3PX too, I could care less about it really. I'm happy to get the battle damaged R2 and the updated R-3PO.

I wonder if we will see another wave of these in the future (ala the Order 66 sets)?

I'm actually looking forward to each and every one of these.

Plo Koon - I like this odd looking droid, plus that's the best version of Plo Koon, which is good custom fodder.

Luke - Looks like a new head maybe on the great vintage sculpt here, and R2 looks good.

Vader - Bad Vader, good droid.

Kit Fisto - Too bad that's the Clone Wars Kit.  But, he's somewhat decent custom fodder at least.

Han - Looks great to me.

Watto - Looks good too.  Will probably be the worst seller of the bunch.

I like the Luke/R2 set.  It would be a nice updated Luke for the X-wing I'm displaying and a cool version of a damaged R2.
This is the way.

I have spoken.
